Historia
Alice Wright marries handsome American Bennett Van Cleve hoping to escape her stifling life in England. But small-town Kentucky quickly proves equally claustrophobic, especially living alongside her overbearing father-in-law. So, when a call goes out for a team of women to deliver books as part of Eleanor Roosevelt’s new traveling library, Alice signs on enthusiastically. The leader, and soon Alice's greatest ally, is Margery, a smart-talking, self-sufficient woman who's never asked a man's permission for anything.

So good
Revisado: 12-29-19
This book was absolutely wonderful. So much more than I expected. Once I started listening to it, I couldn't stop, and ended up listening to it in two days. This was one of the best books that I have read\listened to in a long time. Well worth the money.

Historia
One Sunday in the spring of 1988, a woman living on a reservation in North Dakota is attacked. The details of the crime are slow to surface as Geraldine Coutts is traumatized and reluctant to relive or reveal what happened, either to the police or to her husband, Bazil, and 13-year-old son, Joe. In one day, Joe's life is irrevocably transformed. He tries to heal his mother, but she will not leave her bed and slips into an abyss of solitude. Increasingly alone, Joe finds himself thrust prematurely into an adult world for which he is ill prepared.

This book was Sooooo good. It had EVERYTHING. It had love, hate and everything in between. I laughed and cried while reading this book. Being a full blood Anishanabe myself, I could relate to all that I read. This is the second Louise Erdrich novel that I have read/ listened to and I will definitely look for more of her novels.

While browsing through the audible store, I saw this book several times, and put it in my wish list. Well, I finally bought it , and it was one of the best audible purchases I have made. It was a heartfelt, sometimes sad, intriguing book. Definitely glad that I finally purchased it.

Historia
Tim and Laura West receive a bizarre voicemail on their answering machine. Although the sound is muffled, the raised voices, suspicious thuds, and tortured gurgles lead them to believe that what they're hearing is a brutal murder, unintentionally left as a voice message. As they try to decide what to do next, they are forced to consider a terrifying thought: What will happen when the killer realizes his mistake?

Good read
Revisado: 02-24-16
Not too long ago I started reading Blake Crouch. I have read about 5 of his books. So far I have not been disappointed. I started with a couple of his novels, then I tried one of his short stories. I am really enjoying them, as I work full time and don't always have a lot of time to listen and/ or read books. I must admit the short story *69 was one of my favorites. The narrator was really good. And anyone who listenes to books knows a bad narrator can totally ruin a great book. I will continue to be a Blake Crouch reader and fan.
