To whatever end
Revisado: 07-28-24
This series will forever hold a part of my heart. My heart has been ripped out, repaired, and then ripped out again over and over throughout this series. While the ending is happy, I will forever be sad that it is over. Aelin is the first character I've so closely related to in personality, thought process, and pain. Seeing her and her friends character growth through the story has done so much for me and shown me all the ways that things can be better. If we only have the courage to face things and not be afraid of the outcome.

Historia
A well-researched historical setting provides the background against which the personal challenges and tragedies of the Graham Saga are set. In this book, we return to a Maryland presently torn apart by religious conflict - the hitherto so tolerant approach to various faiths is a thing of the past now that the staunchly Protestant William and Mary sit on the throne, and when Catholic friends of the Grahams end up in danger, Matthew and Alex must ride to the rescue.

So good!
Revisado: 08-04-21
I absolutely adore this series, the first couple of books were so very similar to Outlander, but that didn't bother me any, if anything that made me more inclined to keep reading, and I'm oh so glad that I did. As the books went on they became their own personality, with hardly any similarities to Outlander. Now, on this last book I'm just hoping that there will be more. I can't bare the thought of it being over. So, if you like Outlander, definitely read this. If you don't know what Outlander is, still read this. If you do not like Outlander, then find a different book.

So good!
Revisado: 10-22-20
I absolutely loved this book. I read every Kelley Armstrong book that comes out and was surprised to see a different type of story then I'm used to reading by her, but it is well worth the read. Kelley keeps you on the edge of your seat and pulls you through the mystery as is per usual in any of her books, the time travel however was a very pleasant surprise. As someone who also has read and is obsessed with Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series, it pulled me in all the more with this story. I love how I can never guess the ending or who the bad guy is, and this book as no different in that aspect. I think the only thing that had me a little disappointed was the ending, it seemed a little rushed and overly corny than I'm used to, but that may just be my own opinion. All in all amazing book! I highly recommend everyone to read this one.

Too rushed
Revisado: 05-13-19
Story felt very rushed. sudden time leaps only made it worse. The story itself was interesting and held my attention but I had a hard time with the way the story was told. I've not read any other books from this author yet so I've yet to decide if it was just the story or the way the author writes.

loved the ending to this series
Revisado: 05-07-19
I really enjoyed this book in the series. In this book Louisa really grows as a character in learning the hard lessons that we usually all do in life. It was nerve racking at times because you didn't want her to go through anything terrible. Very sweet ending though. Recommended for everyone to read this series at some point in your life, it makes you look at your life and enjoy the smaller things. Also makes you cry like a baby. Tissues suggested.

Great story, told poorly
Revisado: 02-23-19
This story has great potential. The main story plot is amazing, but I had a big problem with how the story was told. There was huge time gaps then sudden time leaps, it was hard to fully keep up with what was happening. I feel like if there were more details of the days it would of flowed better.
