Historia
The New York Times best-selling author of Magpie Murders and Moriarty brilliantly reinvents the classic crime novel once again with this clever and inventive mystery starring a fictional version of the author himself as the Watson to a modern-day Holmes, investigating a case involving buried secrets, murder, and a trail of bloody clues.

Great Listen!
Revisado: 11-14-18
The narrator was excellent, as was the story. It is one of those books that you can't wait to get back to. A modern day Sherlock and Watson. I hope there will be more to come.

Pathetic
Revisado: 08-07-17
Pathetic excuse for a novel. Grisham must be laughing all the way to the bank. Kept waiting for something to happen. It never did.

Historia
Troubled by the feeling that she belongs nowhere after working in East Africa for 15 years, Frankie Rowley has come home - home to the small New Hampshire town of Pomeroy and the farmhouse where her family has always summered. On her first night back, a house up the road burns to the ground. Is it an accident, or arson? Over the weeks that follow, as Frankie comes to recognize her father’s slow failing and her mother’s desperation, another house burns, and then another, always the homes of summer people.

A book about nothing.
Revisado: 03-29-15
This book was terrible. It went nowhere. If i had been reading a hard copy I would have put it down. I kept waiting for something to happen. It never did.
