Enjoyable for when you just wany something light
Revisado: 07-31-17
What made the experience of listening to Hollywood Stories the most enjoyable?
Fun little stories about celebrities past and present. No pretense no drama just pure entertainment
What did you like best about this story?
It was upbeat and entertaining. It is a group of anecdotes that is relatable to everyone. Nothing salacious just a glimpse into the wit and wisdom of stars we all know.
What does Chaz Allen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
His voice, enthusiasm and inflection. I enjoyed listening to him very much.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No, it certainly isn't that type of book. I usually listen when I am walking or doing something else. It doesn't require concentration or attention. I use it as filler mainly.
Any additional comments?

Historia
This fascinating 24-lecture course is a richly detailed guide to the theology, sacred writings, rituals, and outstanding human figures of the Gnostic movements. What we call "Gnosticism" comprised a number of related religious ideologies and movements, all of which sought " gnosis," or immediate, direct, and intimate knowledge of God. The Gnostics had many scriptures, but unlike the holy texts of other religions, Gnostic scriptures were often modified over time.

A great introduction to the subject

Where does Gnosticism: From Nag Hammadi to the Gospel of Judas rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I've listened to this at least three times and enjoyed the narration and compilation. It flows well and does not preach or patronize the subject.
What does Professor David Brakke bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Yes, he is an excellent instructor who does not let any bias interrupt the lectures
