Such a great audiobook!
Revisado: 02-18-20
This book was fantastic! I never knew what was going to happen. A thrilling ride! The Narrators, Karissa Vacker & Elizabeth Godley gave stellar performances! So powerful and then back to subtle as the occasion arose. I loved that Harper Audio decided to use two different actresses for the two different perspectives. Very cool!

Exactly what I look like for in an audiobook!
Revisado: 01-26-19
Great mystery! I loved all of the accents. I am from the south, so it was really fun to hear all of the different accents. I thought the characters were very well depicted. I especially like Charlotte. I loved listening to this on my commute! Great audiobook!

Historia
For some people, the untamed beauty of the bayou is a place to hide. For Louisiana wildlife agent Jena Sinclair, it's a place of refuge - one where she can almost forget the tragedy that scarred both her skin and her soul. But when the remains of yet another fisherman turn up, Jena realizes that Bayou Pointe-aux-Chenes is not safe for her...or anyone else.

Loved the story. Great sequel. I really like Susannah Sandlin. I'm from Louisiana so I love the accurate description of the setting. It feels like I'm there. The accents are great! I think the narrator did a fantastic job. It's a great listen!

Historia
Jenny's single-parent life revolves around her kids and her job, which means that hours of Animal Planet and strings of computer code are about all she has time for. Not that Jenny's looking for adventure or romance - she's the type of woman who believes in playing it safe. When Jenny is called upon to do some consulting for the Bourbon Street Boys - a New Orleans private security firm - she knows she should stay away.

Great narrator, the book was not as good
Revisado: 09-12-16
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No I would not. It's an easy read, which I consider a good thing, but it is not written very well. It repeats a lot and I didn't really like the main character that much.
Would you ever listen to anything by Elle Casey again?
Not sure if I like her writing style, but to be fair I would listen to at least one more before I made a firm opinion about Elle Casey.
What about Elizabeth Godley’s performance did you like?
I enjoyed the narrator very much. I liked her southern accents. I am from Louisiana and appreciated her authenticity. I did not think that Elle Casey had ever been to Louisiana or New Orleans for that matter. I guess I just want more specifics from the environment in the writing.
Do you think Wrong Place, Right Time needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Unfortunately, no, I didn't care about the characters enough to want more of a story from them.
Any additional comments?
Unfortunately, this was just not that good of a book. I think the narrator did a good job with what she had.

Great narrator, really fun exciting book
Revisado: 09-12-16
Would you consider the audio edition of Wild Man's Curse to be better than the print version?
Not sure, because I didn't read the print version. I really enjoyed the narrator. I am from Louisiana and loved all of the accents. Quite authentic. The narrator did her research.
What did you like best about this story?
I was terrified the entire climax of this book. I was so worried about Ceelie. It was quite a ride.
What about Elizabeth Godley’s performance did you like?
I thought she did a great job. I was engaged the entire time. I loved all of the southern accents. I could tell she really loved the characters.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed a few times. I teared up a few times. I loved Gentry and Ceelie. I also really liked Jenna.
