Historia
An eclipse is supposed to be a wondrous event. Not the end of freedom for humanity. For Maggie, they’re one and the same. In only a few days, the collectives will coalesce, and the forced assimilation of humanity will begin. Maggie and the team need to find a way to stop it, but they don’t know where to start. While Maggie fights for knowledge, the rest of the team faces challenges of their own. Loyalties will be tested, obscure memories will break through, and betrayal may kill the only chance they have to remain free.

Plot got a bit weaker, performance better
Revisado: 08-06-20
Overall loved the series and loved the character development that kept going on during the 3rd book as well. I felt this book was a bit too long and slow compared to the first 2 but it tried to close the loop pretty well and did not leave too many unanswered questions.
Maggie's visions were easy for a reader to understand where they were coming from but no one in the team understood it. Similarly it was easy for a reader to see who the "brother" is but no one in the team sees that in the prophesy and those 2 things made me feel the plot was a bit weaker than the other 2 books.
Even with these things I was really engaged in the book and wanted to see how things would turn out and how against all odds the team would manage to handle it.

Historia
It began with a hallucination. A time loss. A mistake. A strange man reaching out to her. All part of a tourist trap, Maggie is sure, and she's lucky it wasn't worse. Yet something about her life changed that day, and she can't put her finger on what. She forces herself to move on but can never shake the inexplicable emptiness she feels.

Gripping story, great narrator
Revisado: 07-22-20
Found the book very gripping and finished it in 2 days. Already have started reading the next book in the series. I enjoyed the overall plot and got invested in the characters right away. One of the issues I have with such books is having too many characters to keep track of and that is not an issue in this book at all. Each character has a purpose, narrator has done a great job in distinguishing between them as well. The character development throughout the book is good and you start caring for the cause of the team right away.
David's character arc is really well handled and his recovery is handled well at first. I felt later in the book he just recovered a bit too quickly. It is hard to know throughout the book who can and cannot be trusted completely and what is everyone hiding and why, which keeps you invested.

Interesting story, too many characters
Revisado: 06-30-20
Way too many new characters with little build up so it was hard to care for some of them. I really liked the overall story and the direction it took. A bit too NSFW for my liking, the narrator was the best and helped a lot in making things interesting.

engaging and builds up well
Revisado: 06-21-20
I really enjoyed the book and finished it in 2 to 3 days. the story starts a bit slow but picks up half way and a lot of important characters get introduced in the second half. a bit more time to build their character arc would be great in the second book.
the narrator really makes it enjoyable and easy to understand the change in context. a subtle change in tone to separate real world from the virtual would also be great to make it easy to understand although it is so rare that it may not be necessary.
the lead character is really likable and I am glad it did not turn out to be a story of 1 person who can do it all. him relying on others for help makes it very refreshing.
