Historia
Now remembered as the author of the world's most famous hymn, in the mid-18th century, as England and France stand on the brink of war, John Newton was a young sailor wandering aimlessly through life. His only duty was to report to his ship and avoid disgracing his father - until the night he heard Polly Catlett's enchanting voice caroling. He was immediately smitten and determined to win her affection.

Such a clean but beautiful love story. Absolutely love it. So encouraged by the story and the historical value. This book is a gift.

Biased
Revisado: 09-25-16
I enjoyed that he told history like an exciting story that you were taking part in, but he became biased against Christianity in a very negative way. His dislike and distrust of Christ and christians was evident.

Historia
Kit Livingston's great-grandfather appears to him in a deserted alley during a tumultuous storm. He reveals an unbelievable story: that the ley lines throughout Britain are not merely the stuff of legend or the weekend hobby of deluded cranks, but pathways to other worlds.
