I loved this book. There were lots of concise action steps to take to improve one’s ability to remember, mixed in with lots of fun examples, humor, & stories. The narration was fantastic!

Don’t be put off by the title…

This is an excellent book in every way! Dick Gregory was an athlete as a young adult, a comedian/entertainer, and a civil rights activist. He overcame extreme poverty and many other challenges. I loved everything about this book!!! Even though Mr. Gregory is deceased, his words and teachings in this book can still educate people today. Read it!!

How could the USA elect Trump?

The narrator (not Michael Cohen) did a fantastic job with his performance! The writing is excellent! Very engaging! I would highly recommend this book to anyone, but especially Republicans who are staying so loyal to Trump. We can’t allow Trump to come back in 2024.

So glad I listened to this book!

My husband and I listened to this audiobook together. We didn’t vote for Obama (we were devout Republicans at the time), but now we wish we had. He was the perfect man to lead our country through those eight years! I got kind of bogged down in some of the foreign affairs stories, but I’m glad I persevered, because I learned so much! Thank you, Obama, for your service to our country!

Excellent Book

I’m not a daytime TV listener, and was unfamiliar with Loni Love. Since listening to this book, I’m going to find her! It was very interesting and entertaining. I love her voice and reading! I highly recommend this audio book.

My husband and I listened to this audio book together and “did the work” for each of the 28 days. It took lots of time and self-reflection. It wasn’t easy. We learned so much and are committed to continuing to learn by listening to BIPOC voices. The reader of the audible version did an excellent job.

Really Stupid Book!

I did not like this book at all! The acting was terrible. The story was terrible. In fact, I can’t really think of anything I liked about it. I would encourage others to not use their audible original credits for this loser of a book!
