I like the series and the narrators but the accents in this one I didn’t enjoy

I love this series but this FMC was not my favorite

I started this series out of order and I’m glad bc I will finish it but this book I shouldn’t have finished. I love the MMC and the narration. Penny was a bit annoying and I felt she kept hurting the people around her. Obviously this is my opinion and this could be someone else’s favorite in the series.

Great finance book with common sense

Yes, the book needs updated but the advice is still relevant. I found this an easy listen especially for a financial book. Usually I need to sit down and listen with a pen and notebook but this one was great info without taking notes.

An Overcoming Triumphant Story

I have not read a lot of JA Huss, maybe 2 other books, but this book was captivating. The audio version is so good. Both narrators killed it. The End of Book Sh!t was what really got me to want to write a review rather than just leave stars. I love how she wraps up her books and I don’t usually read or listen to the chapters after the story but with JA Huss I surely will because I’ll absolutely read more of her stuff.

I love this series so much but the opening monologue here was - I do not have words. Jack Carr is a master storyteller/writer. Ray Porter is fantastic narrator to put it lightly. I cannot wait for more.

an amazing mix of funny, angst, and heat

I think it's hard to find a good plus sized romance novel but this one knocks it out off the park. I laughed so hard, cried various times, and cheered so hard for our couple. narration was BRILLIANT.

If You Get One Parenting Book, Let It Be This One

wow. just wow. I have read/ listened to do many books and podcasts on parenting, especially for a willful child, but this one takes the cake. I read other books, asked my pediatrician for recs, read those and still felt something want clicking for us. so I looked for a book less geared toward "gentle parenting" and found this one. I wouldn't call this gentle parenting but absolutely peaceful parenting. this book has already changed our household and my relationship with my kids.

I always felt something was off with how we (American/western) are told to raise our kids and turns out there is a better way, at least for me. I am truly enjoying the change this book has guided me to implement in my house and the peace is worth listening to this over and over.

a must listen after book 1

okay, I was super hesitant to buy this one. book 1 ripped my heart out and I did not pay close enough attention to realize a child dies (which is my biggest fear). so after that stab to the heart I wasn't sure I wanted to continue because what could possibly culminate to a HEA after that? the reviews Audible showcased didn't help. they said the book was sappy, etc. however, I had to gamble on a happy ending. I couldn't leave my heart there at the most painful part. I am so glad I did. this book wasn't a steamy forbidden/taboo romance but the love story and rebuild from heartbreak was messy yet so satisfying. I loved the plot development and how it makes such beauty out of the grit of real life.
