Historia
Change is coming to insurance. The tradition-bound P&C industry is on the cusp of the most radical change since the invention of the automobile. And leaders are unprepared for the size, scale, and speed of what's to come from the wave of millennials, new technology, and venture capital funding coming our way. Insurance has been largely immune to upheavals for reasons that startups do not comprehend. But this time is truly different. Forces have been unleashed that will upend the industry sooner than you think.

This is horrible / I’m in the insurance industry and there is so
Much more I expected from this…. I’m not one of those agents who talks just to here themselves and this book is very much fluff talk like that.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

Couldn't do it
Revisado: 01-22-18
Would you try another book from Ayn Rand and/or Scott Brick?
YES Ayn Rand- NOOO Scott Brick
What other book might you compare Atlas Shrugged to and why?
Classic- brilliant- following the Fountain Head
Would you be willing to try another one of Scott Brick’s performances?
NOOO
Was Atlas Shrugged worth the listening time?
Couldn't do it- Scott was so slow and without character. It felt like he was reading the book for the first time "he said" "she said".
Any additional comments?
I really wanted to have this book on audible, as it is one of my favorites. The Fountainhead narration was beautiful, and other Ayn Rand Audible books are perfect, but this, one of the most famous of all of Ms. Rand's works, was unbearable to follow. Lifeless.

More Cayce!
Revisado: 11-13-12
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I would recommend the book, but not this audio. There is a very distinct difference between reading a book aloud and narrating. Ms. Hogue was very disconnected from her material.
What didn’t you like about Dawn Hogue’s performance?
There was no "performance"- she seemed to just be reading the book for the first time.
Any additional comments?
Edgar Cayce's work is wondrous and I hope Audible seeks more of his material...hopefully with talented narrators.

Historia
Science caught up with the psychic readings of Edgar Cayce when it proved that all of materiality—consisting of atoms and therefore protons, neutrons, and electrons—is energy in motion. Everything is a vibration, all of life releases vibrations, and even locations have their own vibrations.

Poor narration, wonderful messages
Revisado: 04-01-11
This book by Kevin Todeschi is wonderful- and I have listed to the CD version, which is also amazing (narrated by Kevin himself). But the narrators chosen for all of the Edgar Cayce works that I have experienced from Audible, are horrible- and it is really so very sad- they are trying too hard to "read" the material and it ends up being mechanical. The quality of the work gets lost in the inexperience of the narrators, I am sorry to say. I sure hope Audible puts more of their experienced narrators on any future work...or maybe they could hire Mr. Todeschi! Title 5 stars, narration 1

Historia
The Moorhouses are finally becoming "somebodies", which just makes Bel even more distressed by the behaviour of Phoebe and Henry - they don't seem to understand propriety. Phoebe's beginnings were as the half-sister of the Moorhouses, the daughter of a Highland tinker. She has grown up into a beautiful and elusive creature of the world, and is drawn away from Glasgow.

This story was about the most boring story I ever encountered. Lelsley Mackie's narration was done so well, I just kept expecting the story to somehow come alive- somewhere. But it never did. The main characters were boring and the story line was lifeless.
