Historia
Jack Reacher wakes up alone, in the dark, handcuffed to a makeshift bed. His right arm has suffered some major damage. His few possessions are gone. He has no memory of getting there. The last thing Reacher can recall is the car he hitched a ride in getting run off the road. The driver was killed. His captors assume Reacher was the driver’s accomplice and patch up his wounds as they plan to make him talk. A plan that will backfire spectacularly . . .

Horrible
Revisado: 09-08-24
The worst by far of the trilogy, so bad in fact I had to stop listening, the reader is mediocre, the story more complicated that needs be. I do not empathize with any character. Characters that were mildly interesting she has achieved in making them humdrum.

Historia
This is the way the world ends, for the last time. The season of endings grows darker, as civilization fades into the long cold night. Essun - once Damaya, once Syenite, now avenger - has found shelter, but not her daughter. Instead there is Alabaster Tenring, destroyer of the world, with a request. But if Essun does what he asks, it would seal the fate of the Stillness forever. Far away, her daughter Nassun is growing in power - and her choices will break the world.

Some of the fantasy
Revisado: 09-05-24
No Tolkien here, some creative creatures but overall same good vs evil story. She could have done so much more. The reader is a woman and does not know how to make a male voice, so it sounds like every character is a female.

Adam Grouper is one of the best readers I have heard. The stories are extremely well thought out and the interpersonal relationships are masterful.

Historia
On January 28, 1742, a ramshackle vessel of patched-together wood and cloth washed up on the coast of Brazil. Inside were thirty emaciated men, barely alive, and they had an extraordinary tale to tell. They were survivors of His Majesty’s Ship the Wager, a British vessel that had left England in 1740 on a secret mission during an imperial war with Spain. While the Wager had been chasing a Spanish treasure-filled galleon known as “the prize of all the oceans,” it had wrecked on a desolate island off the coast of Patagonia.

First two books were so so, the third book got a lot better. The reader is adequate but he is not too good making accents in different languages, and did not even attempt to do Chinese, hahaha. I guess he knows his limitations

Historia
Molly Gray is not like everyone else. She struggles with social skills and misreads the intentions of others. Her gran used to interpret the world for her, codifying it into simple rules that Molly could live by. Since Gran died a few months ago, twenty-five-year-old Molly has been navigating life’s complexities all by herself. No matter—she throws herself with gusto into her work as a hotel maid. Her unique character, along with her obsessive love of cleaning and proper etiquette, make her an ideal fit for the job.

Too many bombs on timers to save the day, could not care less about the characters, and the story telling is juvenile. If you like Reacher, Brad Thor, this is not even close.

Horrible reader
Revisado: 02-27-23
All characters sound the same, the story is mediocre at best by the first hour I knew one of the characters was a turn coat. Not worth the time, and I'm going to keep an eye out on that horrible reader.
