Historia
A murder has taken place in a tony Mumbai neighbourhood. A prime suspect, Prashanth, keeps his silence in the interrogation room as Inspector Khan plays the tapes of his therapy sessions. Smart tight story with characters that are fallible. Ends with n a cliffhanger, so hoping more to come!

Perfect for Oldtime Radio Fans

Modern take on the radio femme fatal classics. Takes a while to get all the characters straight, but they expand each character well over the episodes!

Historia
Some places seem too beautiful to be touched by horror. Summit Lake, nestled in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, is that kind of place. But two weeks ago, Becca Eckersley, a first-year law student and daughter of a powerful attorney, was brutally murdered there. Now the town is reeling with grief, and the police are baffled.

Great idea of a twist, but poorly executed and written
Revisado: 01-29-22
Based off the narration that made every female character sound dumb with a valley girl accent (bad sign when you prefer the male voices by a female narrator), I didn’t think that the writer was smart enough to pull off the twist in the end. With clunky dialogue and tired female troupes—Becka just doesn’t know that she is leading on 4 different guys at once cause she’s so beautiful and naïve—I didn’t think the writer had the chops to even conger a twist.
He had a great idea, but definitely bungled his way through it by choosing to have his two main lead characters not be of his gender (they off as inauthentic and based on troupes). It was also distracting to constantly hear the journalist brag about her incredible writing—-me thinks the author enjoyed boasting a bit too much.
I’m curious if this would have read better with a) different narrator or b) sticking to the world view our author knows best by making the leads be male.
