I started listening to this series when I had a series of long driving road trips. And they are awesome, interesting, entertaining, captivating and compelling. I really enjoyed this book, and the 2 before it!

In the end I enjoyed the last few chapters. The first 7 chapters were literally about nothing. They were all just lead up about what the author was going to tell you. It was a little frustrating and I almost gave up. SERIOUSLY I bought another book and was about to switch when I decided to give it one more chapter. AND yes, she finally got to it. It was interesting and pleasant and original. I'm on the fence about buying the next book. I think ultimately I'll learn something but is it worth the frustration?

As a new author starting out in my own DIY book tour, I found this book very valuable. There are ideas for venues, examples of emails, press releases and suggestions for advertising and marketing. I found the book a little heavy in the author's self promotion of her books and I couldn't tell if she felt like she needed to keep telling us about her accomplishments to secure our idea of her expertise or if she was "talking up her books" but all in all, I found many useful ideas in this book. I'm glad I have it to reference as I progress in through my book tour.

surprisingly enjoyable and enriching

Each month I search for something to listen to while I drive. My drive is short, but last year I decided that I would spend that time enriching myself, finding mentors and just generally getting "zen" while I prepare to start my hectic day at the office. This book was a surprise.
I found myself listening to this book while I grocery shopped, and at other times when I would normally just be standing around doing nothing.

I loved the authors accents, and at times their banter with each other. I found the material in the book easy to follow and the processes and action steps all positive. I found myself bookmarking specific quotes or exercises because I wanted to make sure that I remembered them. I wanted to reference them in my blog. I wanted to practice them in my life!

I love Brian Tracy, just not his narration here

The content of this book is exceptional. It's more of what Brian Tracy has been talking about and teaching for years. However, I couldn't listen to this book because I was announced with the recording quality. I've listened to Brian Tracy audio books before and they weren't like this. In this book he sounds like he's sucking on a life saver during the recording. I don't want to sound mean, but I'm letting you know. Listen to the sample before you buy. It was a waste of my money, because I just can't listen to it. It grosses me out. If you want to listen to a great book by Brian Tracy, go for No Excuses! Fantastic Recording quality and the content is absolutely fantastic!

I really enjoy the Amy Applebaum self hypnosis & meditation series. I find the content very encouraging and promotes great thoughts and aspirations. I also find her narrative very easy to listen to and understand. I have several of her programs and like every one.

Love Deepak

The thing I like about Audible is that it delivers books in a way that make them feel like conversations, especially books like this. I enjoy listening to Deepak Chopra because I find his voice very soothing and his books always serve to bring my attention to a way of thinking that I may not have considered. I listen to books while I drive and listening to this book is like having a personal conversation with the author... which cracks me up, because the book was perfect for driving in traffic or on my way to work! If you like Deepak Chopra's work you will like this book. If you haven't listened to any of Deepak Chopra's work before I suggest you listen to a clip before purchasing because he has a heavy accent. I find the accent soothing and easy to listen to.

Honestly? I downloaded this book because I had a 26 hour drive ahead of me and I wanted something to listen to... other than my kids arguing! :) I read the description and I thought, this sounds ok, it's certainly long enough to get me home... so I bought it. Well, it was a nice surprise, the book was both interesting and entertaining, and the narrator was fantastic. Perfect for the story. I would listen to this again, and maybe this summer. I don't want to say anything about the story line that you can't read in the book description, except to say that I was pleasantly surprised to be so entertained... from beginning to end. If the book description seems like something you will like.. than I don't think you will be disappointed.
