Gripping SciFi Horror Tale!

This fast paced drama is an excellent start to the Dark Galaxy Series. It is very well written and Matt Jenkins narration definitely added to the creep factor and suspense. Lots of action, aliens, mutilated flesh-eating monsters, and ghosts makes it an intriguing space adventure. I received a free audiobook and am happy to leave my honest review. I’m looking forward to the next book. Enjoy!

Engaging Gothic Tale!

Anna’s attempt to honor her favorite Uncle Silas’s last wish shows she has exceptional spunk for a Victorian maiden and provides us with a wonderfully humorous tale. I received a free audiobook copy and found the English accents of the narrator delightful. It definitely added flavor to the drama and dark humor. I hope Mr Chapman writes more of Anna’s adventures and maybe even a story about the Sexton who speaks to ‘ghosties’. Enjoy!

Merliss, a centuries old cat with the heart of a shaman girl trapped inside, must use her wits and unique talents to rescue Saerwynn, the latest apprentice of Fendrel the ‘cunning man’. Merliss is unable to speak to humans to warn them of the Cat Sidhe but she’s adept at using her feline wiles to get the message across. A wonderful combination of magic, suspense, intrigue, Fae legends, complex characters, unusual creatures, and Cat Sidhe (evil witches trapped in cat form) made it an engaging tale. I look forward to Merliss’s next adventures. I received the audio version as a gift and am happy to recommend this book. Enjoy!

Amazing Lycan Adventure in Ancient Rome!

The tumultuous romance between Ulric, a gladiator slave, and Cassia, his wolf maiden, kept me thoroughly intrigued. The unique combination of a Lycan society inside the ancient Roman culture had me fascinated. I was drawn in by the complex characters and the historical setting. Their forbidden love was so full of suspense, intrigue, and twists that I couldn’t put it down.
I really enjoyed listening to the Lycan Gladiator and hope there are more Wolf Maiden stories in the future. I loved it!

Interesting premise-a study in happiness with the participants meeting every 7 years to test and record their feelings and development. It started out slow and deals with so much more angst and frustration over the years that I was almost ready to give up. Their struggle to find happiness is only one of the many emotions the group goes through but ultimately it does have a HEA. I received a free audio copy and I’m happy to leave my honest review. A great combination of fantasy, war, romance and adventure. I love Princess Adren, the feisty heroine/mute Silent Warrior. There’s something for everyone-Princes, Warriors, Elves, Orcs, fast paced action, suspense, intrigue, twists, betrayals, fighting, complex characters, and romance all rolled into a captivating storyline. I received an advance audio book as a gift and enjoyed the narration by George Tintura. He did an excellent job on the variety of voices. I look forward to the next book in this trilogy. Enjoy!
