Good story, fast-paced with a good mix of action and dialog.
The ending left me disappointed concerning a main character who was ostracized suddenly back in the fold without explanation.

I thought I missed a fourth book book

Having three readers taking turns and trading off each chapter was confusing as the female reader made every male character sound like the same 12-year-old boy. This is a trilogy, yet the story leaves everything unfinished as if the final chapter or a fourth book was missing. I actually looked for the next book thinking I had overlooked it. Multiple story threads were left open and then ignored.

It is ok fiction; Teenage girls are snipers, LEOs suddenly become tier 1 operators, everyone has military skills and unlimited ammo overnight.

Good story, odd narration

Book two is a better narration than book one but one female character still sounds like Peter Griffin.

Voices like villains in a bad 80s movie

The story was OK but difficult to get past the horrible voices. The main character sounds like John Wayne, while the rest sound like evil 80s German villains.

Painful at normal speed

The characters' constant quarreling ruined the story. The last two books were played at over 1.7 when not skipping just to finish. After 4 books, the ending was a letdown and left everything open-ended. If there are more books in this series, I am glad I didn't buy them. The performance was awful like each character was stoned; I didn't like the characters, the story, or the narrator.

Side rambling descriptions about everything

I am halfway through the series and listening has become impossible. The storyline is good,the delivery us ok, but the rambling descriptions of each weapons system, what agencies use it and why, the weapons sights, what color the reticle is, how long the battery last,....every single time a firearm is mentioned regardless if it has been mentioned dozens of times before has gotten way past old. I am now subjected to at least a page long reference of information regarding digital safety deposit boxes becausea characterentered a bank....sorry but as good as the main storyline is I lost interest with the constant every other page of nonsensical descriptive.

Another excellent book

Good storytelling but it made me thankful it was fiction, As with the last book this one pushes out from the town and also looks more into what happened. The power dynamics and characters had me cringing and angry.
I had the book for a long time before I finally engaged with it and then just like it's previous books it was a hard read to put down.

Easy listening fiction with the typical cast of characters doing fantastical things, great narration.
BTW, I saw a few reviews that fixated on DJT, the story is not about him.
