A bit more sappy then other Hatch books

Overall, good series. I like that Hatch is a competent female but also realistic. This book seems to be a tad more sappy than the others but still decent.

I'm still a fan of the series, author and superb narration.

Slow start, better finish

I understand why a female narrator was selected for this novel but the lack of diverse voice acting created a very confusing start as everyone sounded the same.

The plot, however, was good. Not as solid as other Dugoni novels but meh - this one was good.

Ending had an unexpected finish which fooled me but it wasnt worth a 'gasp'.

Pretty decent

I guess I'm growing used to these light novels, the twists are still pretty good and the characters seem like friends. The author is letting his political views seep into the story and it's ruining it for me.
Narration continues to be excellent.

I love the Orphan X series and Scott Brick brings the adventure to life perfectly. I am on the edge of my seat.

I binge listen. Total addict - like the entire book in 2 days! i don't even talk to my family!! (I know, it's bad.) I love my family but how wrong is it that I am so impatient for the next book??

Wow! What a great story!!

What an amazing, intricate and methodical novel. This is the sort of book you think - how can anyone think of so many details, string them all together and still make it interesting!
I loved everything. I laughed, shed tears and fell for the characters.
This classic southern murder courtroom drama is action packed and filled with history, pain, love and family. Each ending left me shocked. I didnt anticipate those events. I'm excited and sad the next book in the series is the last.
What the heck will Pen Cage do next?? I'm going to go find out!! Bye!

I love the classic murder mystery novel! I afore the Queen's English so eloquently spoken by DC Smith and narrated effortlessly by Gildart Jackson. The book makes light on fans of narrators when they seek other books read b/c of the narrator, to which... I am guilty!
I LOVE Peter Granger books and that he's teamed so perfectly with Gildart Jackson - well...it makes me brew a proper cup of tea and fall deeply into the wonderful world of DC Smith. I never want this series to end.

So, I didnt expect that ending but it was pretty good.

Narration was 5-star and novel was well written. It's a good Saturday afternoon housecleaning type of book.

Ben is a powerhouse of conservative views and explains current political events effortlessly.
He is very well versed, a debate Titan and his Facts not Feelings spin sends the emotional arguments of snowflakes into a tailspin.

I would love to ask the author a few question on why there were key questions asked in the beginning and never quite answered.

If I stated them here, it would give trinkets of the plot away and I dont want to ruin it.
