Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
I really like old Fred the vampire accountant. He's a funny guy. There was a lot about the world of this story that I wanted to know more about. But there was too much swearing in here, especially for an audiobook. I'm not sure if I want to read the next in the series or now. I *LOVED* Bubba! Very nice job on the narration.
What about Kirby Heyborne’s performance did you like?
He does a great job with the range of voices. Bubba was especially good.

Such an irritating narrator

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Wow, this reader is horrible. He has a pedantic, fussy way of speaking that makes him so irritating to listen to. Most of the characters sound the same. The book itself is a little old-fashioned. The stories are not very compelling, but I did want to see how they ended. It was the characters I didn't like. And there was quite a bit of racism there too. Just skip this one. At least it was free!
