I enjoyed the twist even though I saw it coming

This was my first time reading Lucinda Berry. The story is about a former beauty queen, and mother of two, who has secrets. When her autistic son is found standing over a politician's dead wife, police suspect he is the murderer. The former beauty queen doesn't believe for a moment that her son killed the woman but her secrets keep her from being completely honest with the police, leaving them to believe she may not be so innocent herself. How this story plays out in the end is Movie night gold. I enjoyed this story and the narration was pretty good too.

Great story about the unconventional filmmaking

Let's hope no one else has to go through this but. George Miller is the mastermind behind the Mad Max vision. He was deliberate and methodic in inexplicable ways in his storytelling and filmmaking. This book surprisingly offers great tips and tricks for filmmaking and Hollywood politicking without trying to. I was entertained hearing about the behind the scenes shenanigans. The full cast narrating the book did a good job but I went back and forth between the book and audio. Either one is fine. It is a great story about how the regular Joe went up against Hollywood, and won in the end.

a cute holiday romance

The couple was cute together. I especially liked the tree hunting scene. Rachel Tidd did a superb job as narrator.

wrapped up in a nice little french braid

I enjoyed how the story wrapped up. I'm glad to see Janet got her confidence and all the ladies came together in the end. The sense of humor was on point throughout the entire series.

A wig is a lady's best friend

Miss Keke, I forgot how good an actress you are. I was reading these stories then decided to switch to audio. I did not know what I was missing. I love the themes of confidence and workplace politics. The name dropping and pop culture references were excessive and superfluous. The story is good on its own without all of that.

Miss keke's performance was superb. I love how the story focused on confidence in self while still being a good friend to those who matter. The pop culture references and name dropping was excessive. I am truly enjoying this series.

typical and predictable.

the story was fine. it is like one you would see on the ID channel or lifetime. it just didn't have any creative spin on a familiar tale. I was wanting more originality from the author.
