In this world you will have trouble. Count on it! It might be something small or something big, but you know you don't have an answer. You've come to a realization: There is a limit to what you can do alone. For such times as these, 2 Chairs asks three vital questions: Does God know your situation? Is it too hard for him to handle? Have you ever wondered "Why did I do that?" or "Why can't I just control my behavior?" Others may judge our reactions and think, "What's wrong with that person?" When questioning our emotions, it's easy to place the blame on ourselves; holding ourselves and those around us to an impossible standard. It's time we started asking a different question. Through deeply personal conversations, Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain and trauma expert Dr. Bruce Perry offer a groundbreaking and profound shift from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”

Life changing!!!
Revisado: 10-18-21
This book really changed my life it was "life changing" it helped me to deal with and understand what happened to me. It allowed me to understand what happened to me & forgive those who did it to me. This book showed me where I lost my voice that was very impactful... When I could trace back to the experience that snatched my voice away & many more experiencesto follow. I really appreciated learning what my post traumatic wisdom is... Thank you!

Standing Strong through Adversity
Revisado: 08-11-20
Very well laid out the outcome really showed what African American people are accustomed to happening. We get our day in court and Justice is normally not prevail. I like the way she showed how the black couple standing strong together through adversity that is something that African Americans are used to standing strong together and surviving through rough times and standing tall through it all.
