Historia
On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Planes crash into it and fall from the sky in flaming wreckage, a gardener's hand is severed as "the dome" comes down on it, people running errands in the neighboring town are divided from their families, and cars explode on impact. No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

Very well done
Revisado: 12-20-13
Where does Under the Dome rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This ranks high up on the list of books I've listened to.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Under the Dome?
The woodchuck and the final fire.
What does Raul Esparza bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He adds the character's depth. I was able to see the characters and have the story play out in my head. He really did an excellent job.
Who was the most memorable character of Under the Dome and why?
Junior is the most memorable character. I work in a psychiatric facility and part of the time I was wondering if he needed to be admitted. Especially when he said, "Barrrrbie."

Historia
Accident victim Faith Parker has done what her doctors feared she never would: awakened from the coma that held her prisoner for weeks. But she has no memory of the crash that nearly killed her - or the life that led up to it. Nor does she remember journalist Dinah Leighton, the steadfast friend who visited her in the hospital...until she disappeared without a trace.

Enjoyed the story, not so much the narrator

Where does Hiding in the Shadows rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I love Kay Hooper and her books. I could hear every breath the narrator took, though she tried to conceal it most of the time.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Learn how to breath quiter
