I enjoyed listening to this old man's journey. I did think handing out his carvings was going somewhere but didn't happen maybe if it ends up with a second book.

A cosmetic wizard hat. Some heart-patterned boxers. A pair of trademarked shoes. Those were the only items I could equip after being granted a second chance at life - all the stuff I met the minimal requirements for, but whatever. I wouldn’t fret. This was my shot to redeem myself and to continue serving the one true Voidlord. Like any warlock, I suppose, I had great ambitions. But first...there was the little issue of finding a way back to Earth from Bognaroth’s Lair.

Very fun!!! Enjoyed every word... This was my first book of this type and I'm hooked on Big Daddy Ben. I love the fact he isn't over the top magical with no errors and he is stumbling through his abilities and quest. Bought first 2 books twitching for more.

I loved the idea of the story.
felt book was rushed not enough details. I'm a big fan of these types of books the concept of the book is great but when I say rushed I love to feel I can close my eyes and visually see the surroundings but in this book it wasn't there.
like details of learning how to perform magic describe surroundings more "fluff" instead of the common wording in this book all he did was think of what he wanted and bam it was there
