Narration was excellent!

Not knowing the characters already I wasn’t attached to them and I feel the story lacked depth. However, I enjoyed listening because the narration was top quality. The character voices were superb and you could easily fall into the story as the voices were so distinct, consistent and realistic. There was no question as to which character was speaking at any given time. To anyone who knows the characters or likes the genre I would recommend taking a listen.

The narrative was excellent! I was involved with the characters, their passion and trials almost as soon as the book started. I was impressed by the quick and sure changes of accents. They were repeated consistently throughout the narrative, and I had no doubt who the characters were.
Two criticisms - There was no refresher to remind returning readers and sum up for newcomers where characters were at in this installment, so I was at a disadvantage by coming in to the fourth book. I will need to go back to book 1 to catch up on the storyline. Second, a lengthier pause between the change of character scenarios would have been helpful. The changes continually caught me by surprise.
Overall I was very drawn into the book and enjoyed it very much. I look forward to more! I’m going to go to book 1 as soon as possible to catch up!
