I’m not a book person. I have adhd and can ONLY listen in the car without all 4 of my kids.
I loved everything about this book. The authors voice, the comedic parts, the real world struggle application.

Ever feel like your brain has gotten stuck in a tumble dryer? You know, your hairdryer is missing and your alarm clock has gone off for the third time. You trip over the presumably missing hairdryer and reach for your phone, just to realize that you might have misplaced it as well. While searching for it, you get distracted by a million other tasks that require your attention before realizing that yes, it happened again. Well, if you’ve been formally diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, then you know exactly what I mean, and this book is for you!

Excellent! (But clearly recorded by someone with adhd)
Revisado: 08-18-22
I’m recently diagnosed (41) female, who has masked her whole life. I have three girls with adhd as well, 2 like me, one much different.
This book was empowering for not only myself, but helped me understand differences in my daughters.
Content was amazing and easy to digest. But the choppy recording almost made stop listening. Glad I pushed through. And I would recommend this book to anyone I suspected having adhd.
Thanks!
