Wonderfully performed and a joy to listen to. Brought up many important things that are relevant today and in a kind and clever way. I think it's a must listen.

Just an over the top cop show, kind of ridiculous and some of the acting is spotty or the dialogue is just hard to sell. Let's see if audibles owners ban me for this bad review I guess.

Depressing

Just a stressful listen, couldn't get through even the first book. I was expecting adventure. Not a main character constantly under the thumb of some awful guy and with terrible luck. Maybe it got better but I was skipping ahead and each time I stopped it was on another miserable event.
Wonder how long this review will stay up since it's mediocre

One of the best things on audible. Really clever and funny. I wish I liked most of the things on here half as much. Then maybe I would be tempted to keep a membership... no matter that I dislike audible's owner's business practices

Why can't all Audible Originals be like this?

Hilarious, with a great mystery and the performances were fantastic. If you want the closest you can get to a scifi Disenchantment then pick this up. Though I think this flows better than that show due to having one writer.

The acting is the best part

The first story was the best but it seemed increasingly phoned in as it went on. A lot of the culprit dialogue was the same sort of 'i admit everything now that I've been caught' type stuff that's in everything. Now let's see if 'the powers that be' censor this rating for not being positive enough, just like they do on their main site.

Good story with a good message

I didn't have any expectations but if I had this would have exceeded them. It had sad moments but those helped aid the plot. Very nice and uplifting story with a good message.

Enjoyed it until it got depressing

Seems like another example of an interesting premise with likable characters ruined by misery. I stopped listening once things got that way. Life is depressing enough without my volunteering for it in my free time. I did legitimately think it was thought provoking and well written up until that abject misery point though.

Mrs Muir is a moron

I’m not sure if it gets better but ‘spoilers’ there’s a section where she breaks up with someone and it somehow wasn’t because he was trying to emotionally blackmail her into abandoning her children. I just couldn’t listen anymore after that
