Poor Humor
Revisado: 11-19-24
I didn't finish this book, I found it humorless and the language was unacceptable and offensive. The performer did well reading the story from what I listened to. I'm glad I only paid $1.99 for this book. I do not recommend this book.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

Loved it. The characters were real, at first I wondered how they were all going to tie together but they did. Highly recommended.

Historia
Folks in Moab live for ice cream socials, baseball, and the local paper’s weekly gossip column. Sheriff Winston Browne has watched over Moab with a generous eye for a decade, and by now he’s used to handling the daily dramas that keep life interesting for Moab’s quirky residents. But just after Winston receives some terrible, life-altering news, a seemingly mute runaway with no clear origin arrives in Moab. The residents do what they believe is right and take her in - until two suspicious strangers arrive and begin looking for her.

One of my new favorite books ever. A great story about a regular guy and the impact he had on those he loved -How daily things in life can make a man incredible. Also what it is to live in a small town with people who's life intertwines with your own.

Recommend this book. The plot was very well thought out by the author. It's easy to empathize with the main characters. Deals with some socioeconomic lines. Enjoyed it alot.

Favorite book
Revisado: 09-23-17
One of the best books I've listened to. The story line was intreeging, I thought several times I knew what was going to happen with a character -only to be suprised. It was realistic in that the characters had flaws and weren't nessesarly stong people. I liked the fact that Belle and Lavinia both told their story and how it switched. I was also happy in the end to hear of Belle. I can't wait to know the story of Jamie in the next book. Also very intersting to hear how this story came about. I want to thank all involved with this book for giving me such entertaing pleasure.

Wonderful story. Looked forward to finding time to listening . Story was very imaginative and explored a complex relationship between Dana and Rufus. Really felt like I knew the characters. Performance of reader was exceptional also, I could have read the book, but I would have missed the special touch she added. Look forward to reading more of the authors work.

Plot was okay
Revisado: 07-20-16
Plot of story was good but the writing reminded me of an amateur. The sentences were not written the way the average person would speak. I hate to be critical but I think the author would do better to write less basic and more like the average person verbalizes. I like the part that presented the gospel and the idea that God spoke to David in a unique way. I hope this author continues to write, and takes criticism the way it is intended , not to discourage- to help him improve.
