Historia
The second in beloved and bestselling fantasy grandmaster Sir Terry Pratchett's beloved Discworld novels starring the young witch Tiffany Aching. Tiffany Aching is ready to begin her apprenticeship in magic. She expects spells and magic—not chores and ill-tempered nanny goats! Surely there must be more to witchcraft than this. What Tiffany doesn't know is that an insidious, disembodied creature is pursuing her.

Playful and creative solid story telling!
Revisado: 08-06-24
Terry Pratchett’s writing translates well to audiobooks and the readers do an excellent job. These stories stand alone even though they are a series.

Charming and kept my attention
Revisado: 11-14-23
Both main characters seemed honestly portrayed. The recipes were delightful for the senses. Explored some of the challenges of poor and wealthy women at that time in history. I think it would make a really enjoyable read.

Enchanting story
Revisado: 12-12-20
I read this series a few years back. The audio version did not disappoint.
This is a story of womankind. Of the struggles our ancestors have in overcome. Of the connection of the feminine to the sacred. Of the punishment we often face for claiming our sexual nature. Of abuse at the hands of men. Of overcoming and making a life again after that abuse. Of Love of Loss. Of the kind of healing transformation that is possible through spiritual sexual practice.
Sorry for any spoilers! Listen to the whole series!!

This is a wonderfully written story. Though the narration is somewhat monotone, the narrator really grew on me as I continued to listen.
