like many of these LitRPGs there are several points in this book where I found myself screaming at the narration. But that's because I was so invested. The author does such a good job of showing this genre as if a total N00b and that is something I have not seen in this genre before. definitely worth a listen

as a big fan of the system apocalypse series, this was a great addition and explored many of the areas of the dungeon world that we did not get to see in the main storyline.

so this punch you familiar with Tao Wong's work. this litRPG saga is one of my favorites. I recommend anyone who's looking for a good series to read this one.

Don't judge a book by the comments alone

I've became a huge fan of Matt Dinniman. because he challenges himself as a writer. That's exactly what he did here in this book. not only does he write from the perspective of the three main characters but also from several NPCs. Some of which are not even human. as for the narrator, she does an amazing job voicing so many different and varied characters. I think both did an amazing job on this. The only reason it doesn't have five stars across the board. is so that you would know that this is a real person and not a computer or someone who got this book for free to review. I paid money for it and enjoyed all 18 hours of this book. thank you Matt! I can't wait for the next book.

not the worst litRPG but not the best

I listen to a lot of lit RPGs. and I can honestly say this did not hold up to the reviews I read. though I would say it wasn't the worst one I've listened to is definitely not the best. this system is pretty cool and I like the combat scenarios. his interactions with and relationships with other characters isn't portrayed well and he definitely needs to get a woman's point of view on relationships.

I truly enjoyed this book and I think you will too if you have any love of spoofs, comedy, and all around shenanigans. definitely worth a listen and I would recommend it highly. if you are a fan of sci-fi in any way I think you will find this enjoyable.

if you're looking for a good fantasy book. that bridges the gap between lead RPG and traditional fantasy look no further this is the book you want and Nick what else does a great job reading it
