Historia
Bernadette Fox is notorious. To her Microsoft-guru husband, she's a fearlessly opinionated partner; to fellow private-school mothers in Seattle, she's a disgrace; to design mavens, she's a revolutionary architect, and to 15-year-old Bee, she is a best friend and, simply, Mom.
Then Bernadette disappears. It began when Bee aced her report card and claimed her promised reward: a family trip to Antarctica. But Bernadette's intensifying allergy to Seattle - and people in general - has made her so agoraphobic that a virtual assistant in India now runs her most basic errands.

I love this book and I love the narrator. Bernadette is so relatable. All of the characters are perfectly flawed and likable at the same time.

Historia
Alex thought she had married the man of her dreams: successful, gorgeous, and delighted by her small-town charm. When he walks out six months later, proclaiming to have 'found himself' (with the help of a stunning yoga teacher), she 'finds herself' alone in an unfamiliar city, vengefully drinking through his prized wine collection, living on takeout, and refusing to answer the door. When this fails to cure her broken heart and bruised ego, she reluctantly allows her new friends to intervene.

Love the story, didn't love the narration
Revisado: 08-16-15
What did you like best about this story?
I loved that the main character was a "real" person with flaws and struggles. I enjoyed seeing her go from not wanting anything to do with yoga, to going a bit crazy with it, then back to a happy medium. I loved listening to this at the end of the night. It was captivating enough to keep my attention but not overly intense to keep me up all night. I hope more authors decide to write "Yoga Fiction."
What didn’t you like about Teri Clark Linden’s performance?
It felt very robotic. It was like listening to Siri read a book.
