Great short story with (as always) excellent narration. Jonathan has such a great knack of getting the reader invested in characters very quickly. Then fully flushing out the story just a quickly. I love that. Well done.

Proving I’m the Angel of Mercy is turning into a shitshow of epic proportions. Not too long ago, I was a 40-year-old gal with a stable and boring life ahead of me. Now? Not so much. I have celestial siblings who are no walk in the park. Their decisions can destroy my future. And of course, my predecessor has given me a month to do the impossible or I’ll lose everything that means anything to me.

Absolutely love this series but…

this was way WAY to short for a full credit. As always the story keeps you engaged with all the characters (you love & despise) and is fast paced enough to keep you listening. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll use another credit on a 4-5 hour book.

Not only do I have a father, I have a kick-ass new sister, a ghostly family, and super powers to boot. If you add to the mix that I’m dating the Grim Reaper, it’s a freakin’ party. The only thing standing in the way of my happiness is the Angel of Mercy, though Angel of Misery is more appropriate. She’s responsible for almost everyone I have loved, and who has loved me, being taken away.

With my life back to normal - normal being a very relative word - one would think I’d catch a break. One would be very wrong. With an angel gunning for me and a demon in my bed, life couldn’t be more complicated. Not to mention, I’m going to have to make a rather large life choice. Do I want to live forever? Does anyone? Forever is a very long time. Whatever. I’ll think about it tomorrow...or next week...or next month. As long as I have my girlfriends, my dogs, a super-sized case of merlot, and my deceased squatters, I’m good to go.

I have a favorite series. I am obsessed. Absolutely love it. Took me a bit to get used to the voices that the dead made when they couldn’t be understood but that was a small price to pay for fantastic funny sexy ghostly storyline. Give it a try it’s awesome.

Loved it. Characters were well developed with out droning on. The story was engaging and kept me listening most likely because it’s a topic that is believably real to most. Perfect mix of SciFi and disaster. Please oh please bring out the next one. I am invested in Planet 4! Also Ray Porter is a frigging legend as always ✌️♥️

Kept me engaged and listening. I’ll keep buying as long as she keeps writing. Loved it. If I had to find a critique it would be the length of time it took J & C to get together. I’m not a fan of the back & forth of “does he like me maybe not” kind of relationship writing but that’s about my only complaint and that just personal preference. Good solid continuation of the story line.

brilliant in all he does but for me the story just fell flat. The tempo/movement of it was too slow. I felt myself waving it to come on speed up. I really did enjoy the introduction of a side kick type character in Butters. For me it was an all right read but unlike some of Jim Butchers other works I won’t be re listening anytime soon.

What’s not to love. It’s my favorite author teamed up once again with hands down the best voice actor in another riveting don’t let go or you’ll fall out action packed thriller. Dahlia vs Bullies Rachel Elle vs Anti cosplay people oh and the dead and my favorite good guy who’s not necessarily a nice guy Captain Joseph Edwin Ledger. That’s the trifecta of combos. You can read all Jonathan’s books alone he’s good that way but do yourself a favor and read them all. You’ll thank me I promise you. #hawaiianshirtsrule

from the DMS you have 😎 but fear not our hero’s are g going anywhere just yet. Fantastic book. You’d think plot lines would start to get stale and character development would lose momentum. You’d be wrong. How Jonathan keeps us on the edge of our seat book after book is beyond my tiny mind. Long live the Maberry/Porter combo. I’ll buy that ticket to ride every single time.
