Historia
With magic declassified in the UK, the fake psychics and fraudulent healers are running amok, and it's up to the Department of Extradimensional Affairs' newly appointed Skepticism Officers to crack down. But when they set their sights on Modern Miracle, a highly suspicious and fast-growing faith healing cult with remarkably good social media presence, even their skepticism is put to the test.

More of the same, and that's a good thing!

I listened to the first book just a couple days back and had to mainline the second book as soon as possible.
Sadly, now I have to wait for the 3rd book

Historia
A magical serial killer is on the loose, and gelatinous, otherworldly creatures are infesting the English countryside. Which is making life for the Ministry of Occultism difficult, because magic is supposed to be their best kept secret. After centuries in the shadows, the Ministry is forced to unmask, exposing the country's magical history - and magical citizens - to a brave new world of social media, government scrutiny, and public relations.

Great, Great, Meh
Revisado: 01-26-22
As a huge fan of Zero Punctuatuon, I knew there was fertile ground for wit, but it was so much better than I had hoped.
The world building was well done, flavoured to perfection with satire and dark (but not Grim) humor. The character interactions/reactions were priceless. The ending left me want to experience more of his newly awakened world so much that I instantly bought the second book.
The only flaw, and this is personal taste, was the voice acting. Croshaw, as a single voice, saying something to me is fine, enjoyable, but he lacks a wide range of inflections and affectations that would have brought more depth to the characters. The range he has is well used, so I never felt confused as to was speaking, but it was average at best. Criticism of the voice work aside, I still think will enjoy the 2nd book, which I am about to start.
