Historia
Wells Whitaker was once golf’s hottest rising star, but lately, all he has to show for his “promising” career is a killer hangover, a collection of broken clubs, and one remaining supporter. No matter how bad he plays, the beautiful, sunny redhead is always on the sidelines. He curses, she cheers. He scowls, she smiles. But when Wells quits in a blaze of glory and his fangirl finally goes home, he knows he made the greatest mistake of his life.

Makes Golf Steamy and Hot
Revisado: 06-26-24
Mini Synopsis:
What happens when a professional golfer's most devoted fan loses faith in him? This fan also happens to be a captivating redhead whom he pretends not to notice.
My Narration Thoughts:
Callie Dalton truly shines in her ability to breathe life into the characters, expertly capturing their personalities and maintaining a captivating narration. Her delivery of emotions and wit is nothing short of excellent.
My Thoughts:
This book was so adorable and fun! It made me smile, giggle, and feel a little bashful. MMC Wells's grumpy yet caring nature toward FMC Josephine was endearing and captivating. The portrayal of Wells, the golfer, and his impressive physique motivated me to watch the golf channels. If you catch my drift, I'm definitely not tuning in to watch them play golf.
The accurate and sensitive portrayal of type 1 diabetes in FMC Josephine was truly inspiring. She demonstrated great strength and could hold her own in the golf world. I appreciated how mental health struggles were portrayed in the MMC Wells, as it presented a constructive approach to understanding and addressing such issues. The intense chemistry between Wells and Josephine was irresistible and thoroughly engaging. The sizzling moments indeed drew me in. Wells and Josephine's story brings a new and exciting perspective to professional golf.

Historia
Ellie Greco wishes she weren’t stuck in Milborough. For a few brief, shining years, she escaped her hometown to pursue her dream career—designing beautiful, elaborate costumes for theater—until her father's death five years ago called her home to run the family's decades-old deli. Yes, she loves the place, but she’d always thought she was meant for more exciting things than stocking the right tinned fish. But when Ellie hears that a local landlord is planning to rent to Mangia, the glitzy gourmet food department store, the very existence of Greco’s Deli is suddenly in jeopardy.

Mini Synopsis:

🍕💖Book Review💖🍕
My thoughts:
I enjoyed the mischievousness and chemistry between Theo and Ellie. When the situation required it, they were both able to put their feelings aside and be there for each other. The side characters were funny and relatable, and I particularly appreciated the authenticity of Ellie's family and their willingness to express their strong opinions. Although they held their tongues for Ellie's sake, their love for her was remarkable. I also felt the Italian family dynamic was well-portrayed for Ellie's family. Although Ellie and Theo carried the weight of their losses, I appreciated how they ultimately found solace in each other as well as love.
🎧My Narration Thoughts🎧
I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook, and Amanda Ronconi's narration was just amazing! She brought each character to life in a unique way that made them feel so real. I particularly enjoyed the way she voiced Ellie's Mimi - it was delightful.
