No, because I don't enjoy Shakespeare. I had to read it for a literature course.

This narration saved my grade! I just can't get into Shakespeare. Somehow the actors made the story flow for me. Even though I didn't care for the story, I made it through with ease. I had excellent comprehension in just one listen. Normally it would have taken me several readings to translate the Shakespearian verse into something that makes sense to me. No need with this performance. Thank you for making this!

No wonder Elias Canetti described it as "one of the few great and perfect works of the poetic imagination written". The Metamorphosis remains one of the best works of fiction in history. It is the story of a traveling salesman, Gregor Samsa, who wakes up to find himself being transformed to an insect-like creature. The story unfolds into one of the greatest short fiction stories ever written.

Tim Campbell is a computer or a terrible narrator

Would you be willing to try another one of Tim Campbell’s performances?
No way. I couldn't listen to this for more than 2 minutes. I had to buy another version. Either Tim Campbell is a computer, or a human being whose narration was poorly auto tuned to make him sound like a computer. Either way I couldn't pay attention to the words.

Disappointment as I had to stop it in the beginning due to horrible narration.

Always listen to the previews before buying. Do not rely on star rating. Lesson learned. Luckily this lesson only cost me $2.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Yellow Wallpaper?
The end. I was creeped out and almost hypnotized by the slow descent into complete madness. I knew what happened, but at the same time was thinking "what did I just listen to?"
Have you listened to any of Jo Myddleton’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have never listened to her before, but she was a perfect fit for this narration in my opinion.
