Historia
Bianca and her best friend, Daniel, grew up together under the watchful eyes of Peanut, Bianca's St. Bernard. The huge dog was their babysitter, playmate, and bodyguard. They were inseparable, so people started calling them the BFF Gang. When summer vacation came, Bianca and Daniel decided to go swimming in the river when they were confronted by Mark and his cronies of the Wolf Pack Gang. Find out how Peanut told Mark, in his own doggy language, how much he dislikes brute bullies.

Engaging, enjoyable and educational!
Revisado: 07-09-16
Erika Szabo has written another engaging story for young children. In addition to writing an enjoyable adventure, she gently educates her audience and encourages them to practice kindness to animals, thoughtfulness to their friends and bravery when faced with a bully.
Tim Blake's narration is enthusiastic, bringing the listeners into the story. His pace was perhaps a little fast for younger elementary school-age children, but all in all, I enjoyed listening and would encourage any parent with young children to get this little gem and keep an eye out for further BFF adventures in this wonderful series.

Historia
Nineteenth-century America was the closest thing to pure free-market capitalism that has ever existed. There was no welfare state, no central bank, no deficit spending to speak of, no fiat money, and no income tax for most of the century, and no antitrust laws or federal regulatory agencies until the end of the century. During the 20th century, by contrast, American liberty declined as the size, scope, and power of government exploded. Federal spending, taxes, deficits, and debt have spiraled out of control.

US political/economic evolution explained
Revisado: 06-25-16
Michael Dahlen's opening chapter presents a densely packed summary of the political and economic evolution of the United States. The volume of information could have become overwhelming for listeners to absorb.
Happily, Joe Nagle's narration is calm, clear and easy to listen to. His voice keeps the listener engaged from beginning to end, and makes even the driest and most complicated legislative and Constitutional details understandable, especially to those who do not have a background in the subject but want to know how we got to where we are today.
I'll look forward to hearing Joe Nagle narrate the remaining chapters of Liberty Lost.
