Historia
Nefertiti and her younger sister, Mutnodjmet, have been raised in a powerful family that has provided wives to the rulers of Egypt for centuries. Ambitious, charismatic, and beautiful, Nefertiti is destined to marry Amunhotep, an unstable young pharaoh. It is hoped that her strong personality will temper the young ruler’s heretical desire to forsake Egypt’s ancient gods.

Interesting story
Revisado: 07-14-22
I enjoyed the story but the titel of the book is misleading since it's more about Nefertitis sister and her struggles living beside her overbearing greater sister.
The narrator might be a talented voice actress but her sharp "s"es aren't my cup of tea especially in an audio book with words like Thebes or servants in constant use.
With ear plugs I wouldn't have finished it.

Historia
They were the Princess Dianas of their day—perhaps the most photographed and talked about young royals of the early twentieth century. The four captivating Russian Grand Duchesses—Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia Romanov—were much admired for their happy dispositions, their looks, the clothes they wore and their privileged lifestyle. Over the years, the story of the four Romanov sisters and their tragic end in a basement at Ekaterinburg in 1918 has clouded our view of them, leading to a mass of sentimental and idealized hagiography.

Captivating but abrupt ending
Revisado: 04-04-22
Except for the abrupt ending a very well written account of the Romanova sisters life's.
Everything is very detailed until the very end - I guess the author wanted to spare the reader unfortunately.
The speaker was fantastic I really enjoyed Xe Sands performance.
