Historia
Titan, Wizard, and Demon have enthralled a generation of readers with adventure, humor, horror, and dazzling imagination. Now, in the epic conclusion of John Varley's masterpiece, the satellite-sized Gaea has gone completely insane. She has trapped humans in her mind. She has transformed her love of old movies into monstrous realities. She is Marilyn Monroe. She is King Kong. And she must be destroyed.

The sexual dalliances
Revisado: 04-03-24
I finally had to stop the book and remove it from my phone. I had listened to books 1 & 2 a long time ago and don’t recall it being so full of couplings (to put it mildly) it got really tiring. Very imaginative with funny references to movies and history but the sex garbage was way over the top.

Historia
The Darshik war machine is flagging, but the war is far from over. Even as an exhausted Federation military tenses up for a counterattack after repelling the last Darshik invasion, reports are coming in of a new, more powerful class of ship that's striking deep into Terran space. Captain Jackson Wolfe has been given the fleet's newest, most advanced destroyer and tasked with eliminating this new threat before it can claim any more human lives. What he finds, however, is immeasurably more dangerous than just some new class of starship....

I couldn’t believe when my trilogy ended with an open ended ending. Is the writer going to put together a sequel to this ongoing story? I want more please.

Revisado: 09-14-23
I finally had to just stop and go on to another book. I have read Alex Berenson's books in the past and think going forward will do so again, but I cannot listen to George Guidall's narration. I find it anoying and hard to follow.

The galaxy is doomed. Monkeys may be clever and too stubborn to give up, but Skippy The Idiot Who Got Played knows the harsh truth: this is a fight he can’t win. The odds are not only stacked against him, he was designed not to win this fight. Maybe he can salvage some faint memory of the civilizations that inhabit the galaxy, but those beings are doomed. Doomed. Including the Merry Band of Pirates.

Revisado: 01-10-23
Skippy, Bishop, Simms, and the rest of the crews of this space Odyssey had become close family to me and although I can only guess how the story goes forward in Monkey reality, not hearing their voices in my head will be sorely missed. Bravo Craig and Mr. Bray for bringing this to life and life beyond. Now you guys can work on Amazon to bring a Skippy wake personality to the Echo electronic world. Hint hint nudge nudge 😜

Wow, just when you thought you'd heard the best
Revisado: 09-17-21
I have listened to various writers Military SF books and loved them but this book not only took me into total immersion with the characters and storyline it had me unable to just wait until I was in my car to listen to them. I discovered I could stream through my hearing aids and listen wherever I was with my iPhone, something I never did before. I even found myself listening while on a road trip with my husband, and him none the wiser LOL. I am going to get the sequel Retribution as soon as I have the credit.
Loved this book, especially the description of the Turtle. The bad guys in this storyline where absolutely gruesome and well thought out. The reader does an excellent job with separation of characters and their own voices. Bravo!

What a ride!
Revisado: 09-17-21
When I first listened to Dean M Cole's Sector 64 books I was immediately pulled in to the fray with the story line and the readers rendition of the characters. I have listened to military SF by various writers but never to the extent as I did this short series. I found I couldn't wait to go someplace in my car to listen I had to stream the book through my hearing aids so I could listen at home while cooking, cleaning or just sitting and doing puzzles on my iPad. Because of this the books are done and I await a sequel letting me know how Sandra, Jake and their family are doing on the new world they left to at the end of this book. I await for more from you Mr. Cole. Bravo!

Historia
At seven minutes past midnight, thirteen-year-old Conor wakes to find a monster outside his bedroom window. But it isn’t the monster Conor’s been expecting - he’s been expecting the one from his nightmare, the nightmare he’s had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments. The monster in his backyard is different. It’s ancient. And wild. And it wants something from Conor. Something terrible and dangerous. It wants the truth.

Very Dark story
Revisado: 06-02-19
I purchased this book for the month of October to setup being in the Halloween spirit. When we realized the boys mother was dying of leukemia it was hard to continue on since my husbands late wife died of leukemia. All in all the story telling was well done and the story itself was very sad, not what I was expecting the book to be about I guess. But it was well written and the reader did an awesome job with the different voices. I would listen to other books by this reader so don’t let this review put you off, it is a good book. Definitely tugs at the heart strings.
