Before he was considered a CIA superagent, before he was thought of as a terrorist's worst nightmare, and before he was both loathed and admired by the politicians on Capitol Hill, Mitch Rapp was a gifted college athlete without a care in the world...and then tragedy struck.

Fantastic book. However like every book ever written it could always use improvement!
Revisado: 04-06-22
This is a good book and an essential part of the Mitch Rapp series. In this regard it is definitely a must read. Furthermore, it is one of the last book’s, written by the late Vince Flynn himself. The creator of this series. Finally, the movie “American Assassin“ which is based on this book, is absolutely terrible and it doesn’t do this book any justice. Read this book and disregard the movie based on it completely.

It's a gorgeous autumn day in Georgetown. The Democratic candidates for president and vice-president of the United States are dutifully glad-handing voters and the media outside a grand estate where a national-security conference has just been held, bringing together the world's greatest minds to discuss the issues that are threatening the country. It's American politicking at its best. That's when all hell breaks loose.

A must listen to any and every fan of the Mitch Rapp novels
Revisado: 03-02-22
This book has a fantastic plot. Unfortunately it is not at all far-fetched. Incredible accurate detail, and the narrator, again does a terrific job. This is another book, which only adds more evidence of the considerable writing acumen of the late Vince Flynn. The Mitch Rapp series created by the late Vince Flynn and continuing under the stewardship of Kyle Mills, is a must read for every American patriot, As well as anyone and everyone who wishes to become an American patriot.

Exciting story important historical context
Revisado: 02-11-22
The story not only describes in phenomenal detail how Israel’s intelligence service brought biblical justice to the man known as “the hangman of Riga“ Latvia. The book goes beyond just describing the details of the operation. It also describes the operation in context to what was going on at the time this operation was undertaken. I think any fair minded individual who listens to the story, would conclude that their was more than enough evidence and very sound reasons for handling the disposition of this Nazi war criminal in the way they did. This operation definitely had repercussions, repercussions that are definitely still felt even today. I would argue that the repercussions are positive definitely for the state of Israel and the same is true for the rest of the world.

Historia
In 1960 Argentina, a covert team of Israeli agents hunted down the most elusive war criminal alive: Adolf Eichmann, chief architect of the Holocaust. The young spy who tackled Eichmann on a Buenos Aires street - and fought every compulsion to strangle the Obersturmführer then and there - was Peter Z. Malkin. For decades Malkin's identity as Eichmann's captor was kept secret. Here he reveals the entire breathtaking story - from the genesis of the top-secret surveillance operation to the dramatic public capture and smuggling of Eichmann to Israel to stand trial.

Excellent the first person account
Revisado: 02-09-22
It is always uplifting and brings a sense of relief to read accounts like this. Stories of real life heroes who are willing to stand up and face the true evil among us. Despite the high cost to themselves, these heroes bring those who commit almost incomprehensible evil out from the shadows, to answer for their crimes against all humanity. This is one such account. May God continue to bless the people of the state of Israel.

This book is an absolute page turner. You won’t be able to put it down and it will leave you craving for a future books in the series. While it is obviously a fictional story, in the best tradition of historical fiction, it is truly timely given the world we now live in unfortunately.

Mitch Rapp is Jack Ryan 2.0
Revisado: 02-02-22
The late Vince Flynn created a character Mitch Rapp similar to Jack Ryan for the next generation. This series is a continuation of the Tom Clancy jack Ryan series for today’s generation. The story itself is very good but not the best in the series. However, it is an essential part of this series. This is the third book in the Mitch Rapp Book series beginning with “transfer of power“ all the books in this series are excellent. Every book written by Vince Flynn is terrific starting with his first “term limits.“ The essential theme in all of his books, like the Tom Clancy novels is patriotism. Every American patriot who enjoys historical fiction should not only listen to this book but also every other book in the series and/or written by Vince Flynn and now continuing seamlessly with the current author Kyle Mills. Normally I wouldn’t mention the narrator in any audiobook because it’s the story that counts. However I will make an exception in this case. The best narrator for the series is The narrator that starts reading this series beginning in the next audiobook entitled “executive power. I wish they would redo this recording and the other audiobooks in this series with the narrator who started with the next book from Audible in the series. Either way every book written by Vince Flynn including the titles in this series even the books in the series now written by Kyle Mills are totally huge page turners. Excellent overall, great story, decent narration performance. This is a great audiobook.

Excellent history book
Revisado: 01-31-22
I think this book should be required reading for today’s generation who for the most part have no idea about the circumstances surrounding World War II. Most importantly this book has the capacity to generate some critical thinking about the use of the atomic bomb, rather than dismissing it out of hand as a terrible decision. Finally this book is unique in that it is not written like a traditional history book. Instead of it is truly a page turner.

The definitive biography of a legendary athlete. The Shrug. The Shot. The Flu Game. When most people think of him, they think of his beautiful shots with the game on the line, his body totally in sync with the ball - hitting nothing but net. But for all his greatness, this scion of a complex family from North Carolina's Coastal Plain has a darker side: He's a ruthless competitor and a lover of high stakes. There's never been a biography that encompassed the dual nature of his character and looked so deeply at Jordan on and off the court - until now.

“Michael Jordan: The life” is a very thorough and well researched book
Revisado: 01-26-22
Michael Jordan began as a boyhood hero for me. This book is well researched and has wonderful thoroughness and does a very well, detailed, and fair job of separating Michael Jordan the man from Michael Jordan the legend and the American icon. Despite an honest appraisal of Michael Jordans successes and failures, It does so honestly and because of this it does not tarnish him from those who still admire him 24 years later. I submit that if pro athletes in every American sport especially basketball were more like Michael Jordan The ultimate competitor who’s primary focus was always to be the best he could be and do the best he could in everything he did without money being the primary motivator or factor especially in regards to his primary responsibility and first love basketball. The game of basketball would be better today and pro sports would be better today. Finally the inevitable admiring of professional athletes would be better off because of ultimately what Michael Jordan demonstrated through work ethic and doing everything possible to be the best that he could be which is synonymous with hard work and doing the best job you can all the time, which is the opposite of being mediocre or worse at your professional sport and trying to make up for that by show boating and doing everything and anything Off the court, through the use of woke culture just for money. This attitude has ultimately damaged professional sports over the past 24 years and damaged professional athletes as good role models since the days of Michael Jordan. When you read this book and learn about some of Jordan‘s questionable behavior, mistakes and the missteps, The reader is able to see that Michael Jordan is human and makes mistakes like everybody else, but you also learn and are presented with a complete and thorough picture of the man behind the legend and icon that is arguably the biggest and the best sports icon in the past 100 years.

Historia
An off-duty Coast Guardsman is fishing with his family when he calls in some suspicious behavior from a nearby boat. It's a snazzy craft, slick and outfitted with extra horsepower, and is zipping along until it slows to pick up a surfaced diver...a diver who was apparently alone, without his own boat, in the middle of the ocean. None of it makes sense unless there's something hinky going on, and his hunch is proved right when all three Guardsmen who come out to investigate are shot and killed.

Definitely not the best book in the series. It’s just OK.
Revisado: 04-25-21
I thoroughly enjoy the Lucas Davenport series however, I was quite a bit disappointed with the climax and overall ending of the book. “Ocean Prey“ Is unfortunately by far not the best book in the Prey series. I am still greatly devoted to the series and to the character “Lucas Davenport“ but this was definitely not John Sanford‘s best work as part of this series.
