Historia
When Michael Lewis first met him, Sam Bankman-Fried was the world’s youngest billionaire and crypto’s Gatsby. CEOs, celebrities, and leaders of small countries all vied for his time and cash after he catapulted, practically overnight, onto the Forbes billionaire list. Who was this rumpled guy in cargo shorts and limp white socks, whose eyes twitched across Zoom meetings as he played video games on the side?

Fascinating and I left more perplexed than when I started!!!
Revisado: 12-05-24
I have to say, after reading and listening to this book simultaneously, my only takeaway is that some coins are best left unflipped. Fantastic book, though! I learned so much. And it was such a fast-paced read.

And inside look into the super affluent.
Revisado: 03-27-24
I really liked the transparency and the situational analysis in this book. It was interesting to get a pretty intimate, inside look into the super affluent, the super rich. I found this book to be very insightful. Perhaps I would’ve liked to know a little bit more about the nitty-gritty details, but I can understand the reservation in withholding a little bit as well. Overall, this was a very insightful read, and very timely for my own life, given, my similar rise to wealth.

Historia
Jared Kushner was one of the most consequential presidential advisers in modern history. For the first time, he recounts what happened behind closed doors during the Trump presidency. Few White House advisors have had such an expansive portfolio or constant access to the president. From his office next to Trump, senior adviser Jared Kushner operated quietly behind the scenes, preferring to leave the turf wars and television sparring to others.

A really honest, fair, and candid account.
Revisado: 12-30-22
I found this book to be a really honest, fair, and candid account of the Trump administration. I also appreciated a lot of the back stories and inside information Jared Kushner shared. He really seems like a stand-up guy and I don't think he got fair treatment in the media. I think he really just wanted to serve The United States of America and that notion comes across sincerely throughout this entire book. I would really like to meet Jared Kushner one day.

Revisado: 08-26-19
I really love this episode. Just hearing them talk and engage back and forth with each other was wonderful. You can tell they know their stuff and it made me have a deeper appreciation for the classics. I definitely plan on listening to many of their recommendations. These women are very knowledgeable and it was a joy to hear them articulate their knowledge of these wonderful works of art.

if you are stuck in terms of creativity, read this
Revisado: 04-19-19
A lot of this book I didn't necessarily love, but then there were moments of pure Brilliance. There were lots of great gems that were very inspiring. This was exactly the type of book I needed to read at this point in my life. And I think Elizabeth for putting forth such great effort and creativity to share her experience with regards to the creative process with the masses.

A Short and Wonderful Metaphor
Revisado: 04-01-19
I listened to this in one sitting. there were probably five to seven Great quotations and takeaways I had as well. The only thing I wish, but it might have taken away from the story, would have been for Richard Bach to give an analysis as to what the parable, analogy, or metaphor meant. As it stands, I have my own ideas, but it would have been good to get his take away as to why he wrote the story originally as well. I guess I will go to Google now to do a little more research on it! :-)

Historia
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair. For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to "settle-for-less", there is an alternative.

It depends where you are coming from
Revisado: 07-12-16
Would you listen to The Millionaire Fastlane: Crack the Code to Wealth and Live Rich for a Lifetime again? Why?
I would listen to the last third of the book as I understand and believe in the philosophy's of the first 2/3rds of the book already.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
It was all ok
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No
Any additional comments?
I have been an entrepreneur for 20 years now so the book and mindset started out really slow. If you understand that you need to leverage an asset and not your time to make money skip to about the 10th chapter if you don't understand this then it will be good to start at the beginning.
