Historia
Sherman Holmes has officially settled into his new city, and the World's Greatest Detective Agency has opened its doors. While his put-upon partner, Watson, would be happy to keep the jobs as simple as missing pets, when a worried worker with an outlandish tale of ghosts walks in, there's no stopping Sherman from taking the case. Now, the new duo must investigate a local "haunted" tourist site where the scares are going off-script and otherworldly interference is suspected.

Unusual and interesting
Revisado: 02-06-25
I liked the sherlock holmes philosophy without directly following down that path. Holmes being the inferior superior and yet, noticing everything that watson may have not knowingly noticed. Strange review but it makes perfect sense to me.

In the not-too-distant future, a 21-member crew launches from Earth. Their mission: to establish a temporary colony on Mars. Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Now, a thousand years later, the resources needed to sustain life are running out, and the very existence of the Mars colony is threatened. Humankind has only one option–to return to its home planet.

Historia
As the modern church struggles to find a place of relevancy for a new generation that already has massive demands on its time and attention, more and more young people raised in the church are leaving it - failing to find the answers to their questions. Join authors Dr. Jason Lisle and Tim Chaffey as they put forth a case against an old-earth interpretation of Scripture. A comprehensive biblical, theological, and scientific critique of old-earth creationism, the book presents its compelling testimony in layman's terms to create a powerful debate that leads to unquestionable truth.

Young Earth Evidence
Revisado: 12-07-24
I understand that Religious people might possibly change their attitudes based on a 'prove the Science with the Bible' philosophy, but you will never prove to Atheists or Agnostics that science is direct proof from the Bible. You need to prove the Bible with science for those people, who are becoming the majority in the USA because of the fallacy of 'separation of Church and State' based on the state supporting Atheistic philosophy, because it doesn't use religion to believe it. Schools now teach secular or 'Atheist' science to keep religion out of the schools. Freedom of Religion should allow students to pray when they want, outside of disrupting classes. They can also do book reports on the Bible anytime that they want to, and if asked to give a speech, their speech is of their choosing and can be based on their religion and/or the Bible. Atheists have their own belief or 'religion'. They just believe that they are right and we are wrong, no other argument besides fake science to prove their position. There are Zero missing links. We will never see stars with any telescope outside of our 'galaxy', and all other galaxies and stars...are part of the Milky Way galaxy. Otherwise, the Earth would be much closer to the center and the outer edge of the galaxy.

Too relaxing, hard not to fall asleep with her gentle voice
Revisado: 12-10-22
Good meditation audio book! Worth 5 stars, but since many 5 star ratings are fake, I went with 4 stars so people could see a good rating! I did fall asleep a few times and only hope that I absorbed the meditations during my sleep. I looked up an index but didn't find one, so I will order the book. A few meditations at a time would work better to prevent Sarah's soothing voice from puting me to sleep. We will listen to different meditations multiple times.

Historia
Imprisoned in a remote Turkish POW camp during World War I, having survived a two-month forced march and a terrifying shootout in the desert, two British officers, Harry Jones and Cedric Hill, join forces to bamboozle their iron-fisted captors. To stave off despair and boredom, Jones takes a handmade Ouija board and fakes elaborate séances for his fellow prisoners. Word gets around, and one day, an Ottoman official approaches Jones with a query: Could Jones contact the spirit world to find a vast treasure rumored to be buried nearby?

Too long
Revisado: 07-16-22
If I were a prisoner of war, I would never go through all of that for an attempted escape. I would either be better off as a prisoner, or dead from any other kind of escape. You must have a propensity to tell long boring useless stories to be able to go through all of that for so long to make an attempted escape. Not held in interest.

Historia
The Fool and the Heretic is a deeply personal story told by two respected scientists who hold opposing views on the topic of origins, share a common faith in Jesus Christ, and began a sometimes-painful journey to explore how they can remain in Christian fellowship when each thinks the other is harming the church. This book provides a model for how faithful Christians can hold opposing views on deeply divisive issues yet grow deeper in their relationship to each other and to God.

The Evolutionist maintained that he was right...is God's word a story?
Revisado: 03-15-22
The Creationist maintained that it was God's word! 5500 years of Creation and Christians changed their minds because of Atheist science against them. When did the Atheist become God? When Christians follow Atheism, they too will become Atheists. Look at our world! When did the Catholic Church break away from the Old Testament? The New Testament follows Christ, the Old Testament follows his father. Over 2000 uses of the word Day in the Bible but only gets stretched from a day to millions of years in Genesis. That's a stretch in anyones world! There is real science in Creation, but like Bill Nye's argument about anything Creation...'No'. No reason for that answer, just 'No'.

Real or Not? There is a Pale Horse coming for Us!
Revisado: 02-12-22
There have been too many strange and destructive occurrences in the US to look the other way. Whether it's all about what he says in this book or something else, it's time to wake up and start paying attention. COVID frauds and murders for not doing proper COVID studies, more Government agencies taking powers that they are not allowed, Doctors being removed from their positions, and in some cases, losing their medical licenses for telling medical truths, and a larger part of our population wanting the unvaccinated to be put in prison camps for being unvaccinated, or telling probable truths online, is eliminating many rights given us by the Constitution (Freedom of Speech, Religion, Right to Bear Arms, Freedom of the Press-and I mean the real press, not the politically owned or Hollywood press...). Are we to be the next Nazi Germany Willingly Ignorant society that looks the other way until our lives are the next to be eliminated? By then, it will be too late.

Abridge the thing to make a normal length story, or even a short story. Just too long and not enough difference in gore or difference in attempted hero's.

Could be more of a family book if the f-bomb was left out, and would also be more appreciated by religious types. That word alone may cause many to rate the book poorly, or stop reading/listening to it, but my having been one to embarrass a sailor at times, though I'm trying to curb that greatly, I'm not one to talk. It was a bit uncomfortable to listen to it with my daughter, and wife though.
