Historia
Reading Revelation Responsibly is for those who are confused by, afraid of, and or preoccupied with the book of Revelation. In rescuing the Apocalypse from those who either completely misinterpret it or completely ignore it, Michael Gorman has given us both a guide to reading Revelation in a responsible way and a theological engagement with the text itself. He takes interpreting the book as a serious and sacred responsibility, believing how one reads, teaches, and preaches Revelation can have a powerful impact on one's own—and other people's—well-being.

Insightful and Thought-Provoking
Revisado: 05-23-24
I found this book to be insightful and thought-provoking. While it may not be the definitive work on Revelation, it presents compelling arguments and effectively challenges several erroneous yet widely held Christian beliefs. The author’s ability to articulate these points made it a valuable and engaging read. Highly recommended for those looking to deepen their understanding.

Couple of nice praying techniques
Revisado: 12-27-23
I liked the author’s authentic desire for the church to pray how it has biblically throughout the generations. He gives a lot of concrete examples as to how to pray, with Greek translations and their deeper meanings.

Historia
Combining research from Asian scholars with his many years of experience living and working in East Asia, Brad directs our attention to Paul's letter to the Romans. He argues that some traditional East Asian cultural values are closer to those of the first-century biblical world than common Western cultural values. In addition, he adds his voice to the scholarship engaging the values of honor and shame in particular and their influence on biblical interpretation.

Enlightening on eastern perspective
Revisado: 03-21-23
This was very eye opening , as a westerner I never considered the honor-Shame mentality of easterners and how that is obviously represented in the New Testament scriptures.
