I liked everything. No complaints at all. Narrator was good. I have yet to listen to a book by this author and the team of Lincoln and Child that I have not enjoyed. Excellent.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

Even though I have never seen any of her TV appearances I enjoyed this book. It was at times somewhat hard to listen to it was also interesting. I realized that I also have an eating disorder (not to the extreme of this young lady though) and decided I really should speak to my doctor about it. So thank you. I wish you health and happiness in the future. You deserve it!

Good but a little too technical. My old brain could not understand a lot of the technical terms used. Apart from that the book was good and the narrator was excellent.

After what seemed a very slow start the story picked up somewhat . The last third was really quite good. I do enjoy the Delaware series though and will continue to follow the series. So don’t give up on this book if it seems too boring the last part of this story makes it worthwhile.

Great
Revisado: 10-25-18
The story started out slowly. In fact it took a couple of false starts to finally carry on with the novel. After that it turned into an addiction that had me “binge” listening to the end. Everything fell by the wayside until the final sentence. I was disappointed when it did end. I felt as though I knew personally the characters. A five star listen for sure.

I loved this story. I did work my way through a box of Kleenex but they were happy tears. I usually stick to gruesome mysteries etc. but took a chance on this one. I totally “binge listened” and was surprised at myself. But as I stated previously, I loved the story. Also, I wonder if the author was at one time a Speech Therapist, I was and was amazed at the accuracy with which she described the room etc. Great job!!!!
