A Fast, Fun Romantic Trip & No Layovers Required

This is a swift-paced and entertaining escape of a story, a good de-stressor for an evening or two. Tye and Carina have an intriguing dynamic that will keep you curious as the plot moves along. I enjoyed seeing the ways outside circumstances changed them juxtaposed against some of the ways they actively chose to change; it was a nice blend. I’m new to Stone’s work, but I appreciated that she wrote about a couple whose path didn’t follow some of the usual, straightforward romance novel conventions.

Listening to the story was lovely. The characters were well voiced and distinctive. The only difficulty in listening to this as an audiobook was in the structure of the story. The timeline bounces between the present and the past frequently, and I’m not sure that framework leans itself as naturally to narration as it might to text. However, the narrator/performer kept everything very smooth, so you never lost a listening step as to whose voice was whose, no matter the time period. He also did a very nice job with feminine voices, which, sadly, is not always the case with male-read audiobooks. The obvious highlight in the voice work was his characterization of Tye; that was a total standout. He made Tye very appealing, and that’s always a plus if the male romantic lead character is one you want to hear more of!

All in all, it’s an enjoyable listening experience, and fun for a quick mental vacation from your everyday life. If you need that break, this might be for you. It’s definitely cheaper than a plane ticket, and far more relaxing than dealing with the airport or the TSA!

Fun Collection for Good (& Not-So-Good) Girls! ;D

This is a fun and tempting little collection of stories tailor-made for any ladies feeling a little bit "little"! The author does his own voice acting for all the stories, and he does a beautiful job bringing them to life. His voice is unfailingly sensual; it's incredibly easy on the ears.

For those new to his stories: they're first person 'conversation-style' pieces where the narrator is talking to you as the object of his attention in each short work. He draws you into the vignettes right away each time, and you get to have a rainbow of different "little girl" experiences throughout the whole book. (And, seriously, who doesn't like rainbows?!) His "Daddies" have subtle variations too, so you're not listening to the exact same Dom each time either. Some of them are fun and light, others are demanding and a little bit cruel, but all of them are straight-up sexy. The book's a lovely variety, and because of the differences across the sketches you're likely to find something that will really pique your interest each time you listen. This is a little jewel box of soon-to-be favorites for you. It already is a set of favorites for me!

Whether you're a good girl, orrrr maybe more of a girl who says "define 'good!'", you deserve to give yourself this gift. I'm sure all of the Daddies in this book would wholeheartedly agree. Enjoy!

Nice and Easy Does it Just Fine!

This curated collection of audio stories is perfect for when you want something on the gentler side of sexy. It's got some stronger affirmation pieces that very nicely bookend the grouping. The works in-between are personality-filled and fun; there's light-heartedness to some of them, and a core of caring in others. It's a lovely little variety. It's hot, but not too heavy in tone. If you're looking for something to suit the Goldilocks in you, I think you might find this is juuuuust right!

It IS "The Best" -- Audio Erotica Par Excellence

This assemblage of The Grey Knight's audio stories is certainly worthy of its title! It includes so many flavors of delicious fun. The author/narrator makes sure that each chapter's tale sounds distinct, a mini-world complete in itself. However, his voice also smoothly ties the audio sketches all together. His cadences carry each story seamlessly, no matter how rough, tender, or teasing his words. Whatever what the listener is seeking, there's bound to be a chapter (or more like a whole bunch of them) that she'll really enjoy! If you're new to his work, lucky you finding such a great starting position! This is sure to be a series of favorites to which you'll return time after time after time. Have fun!
