Historia
The Wasp Factory is a bizarre, imaginative, disturbing, and darkly comic look into the mind of a child psychopath - one of the most infamous of contemporary Scottish novels.

Plenty of strange dark humor

Not only did the ending not make much sense there was absolutely no resolution to the story.

Historia
The Cadian Gate is broken, and the Imperium is riven in two. The might of the Traitor Legions, kept shackled for millennia behind walls of iron and sorcery, has been unleashed on a darkening galaxy. Among those seeking vengeance on the Corpse Emperor’s faltering realm are the Death Guard, once proud crusaders of the Legiones Astartes, now debased creatures of terror and contagion.

An interesting look into a faction I never cared about before.
Revisado: 01-02-24
With myself being an Ultramarine lover I don't know much about the chaos factions. I figured I would give this one a try to better understand my enemy. Man was I blown away! I never knew that the demonically aligned had their own thoughts, opinions and social structures. Having given up their soul to their patron gods they still have very human motivations.
I also enjoyed seeing in some parts both sides of a battle, one from the Death Guard perspective and the other from the Imperial Guards perspective. Having chaos marines alongside demons attacking your world is truly horrifying.
The pacing is good for me as well. I just listened to the 30k Space Wolves book and it took 10hrs before anything got interesting. For this book it does start off smaller and slower but the action quickly snowballs to an incredible final act.
Absolutely loves the book and would read more that are similar to this.
