I loved the adventure plot. I like the good vs. not necessarily evil theme. Tim Gerard Reynolds is an awesome narrator and the reason I picked this Trilogy to read.

I had some trouble adapting to narration style, as I've read this book multiple times through the years, so have imagined voices differently in my mind; but once I got used to the narration, I immersed myself into listening to this magnificent story by Ms. Woodiwiss!

Mr. King's weaving the many fairytales we grew up with in comparison to what 17-year-old Charlie is experiencing in this alternate plane of existence was a fascinating adventure. I have added Travis Baldree to my list of favorite narrator s! Mr. Cobble, I would have given book two a 5-star rating except for the transition of point of view from one character to another from chapter to chapter. I was confused at first until I continued with the story and the following chapter. I have pre-ordered book three!

Reminds me of Stephen King's stories. For those of us who love reading about the paranormal and things that go bump in the night! Nicole Poole, narrator, used the same voice as she has for other characters in other books she has narrated that I've listened to, so I was bit distracted by that.

This book can be read/heard as a stand-alone, but I recommend reading the IG series. As always, Ms. Potter has our characters' voices distinguishable that there is no confusion as to who is who!
