Honestly it’s better than I thought it would be.

So not to give anything away and I am not a professional book critic by any means. I just know what I like. I normally read Wolf shifter books but tried this one out. Had a decent storyline just enough of a little bit of drama and of course A happily ever after. If I had to criticize anything about this book, it’s just something that I personally get tired of hearing constantly inother books as well. But there was a lot of self dialogue. Most of the chapters were around the female there was a couple of chapters that were maybe two sentences long for the male character. When there’s dual narration I feel there should be just that, dual narration and
not so much self dialogue.

Had potential

Honestly it’s a good thing I only paid one credit for these books. The story itself wasn’t too bad And has so much potential,but what really lost me was the constant self talk from the narrator. Honestly there was more of that there was two way conversations. It just didn’t hold my interest at all. All three stories are the same way.

Wow.... Wasn't expecting that!

So, I got the book sent to me free for an honest review. This is the very first book I have read from her, Here it is:

This book! I honestly finished this book about a week ago. It has taken me this long to review it because, holy cow, what a ride of emotions! I won't go into the summary as you have probably already read it on the book description, but I will go into some, but not giving away, details of characters and insights.

Sarah: A character really that most of can relate to in some way. She is intelligent, thoughtful, ambitious and well, a woman with all the emotions that the rest of us feel. ( happiness, sadness, distrust, throwing caution to the wind) This character was so well thought out and presented, she really could be one of our friends in real life. I loved that this author did not have this character ramble on and on about things so much. There was plenty of conversations and dialog between characters that it kept me interested.

Jess and Tom: Sigh.. Sarah's two best friends. Totally relatable and honestly, the relationship with them is so believable. and full of depth, Can i have them for best friends too please? Jess was the best friend we all want, she has your back and won't let anyone do you wrong. But she is also the "strong" outspoken friend dealing with her own stuff. Tom: who doesn't want a gay best friend!! honestly, he was smart, funny and believable as well. I could see spin off books on these two as being good ideas for sure.

Noah: The narcissist professor, who also happens to be Sarah's ex boyfriend, who wants her back. Typical narcissist, doesn't get his way, so goes in for a payback. I will leave that there.

Leo: Oh my heart races at the thought of having this man in my life... Lord have Mercy turn on the AC! A character who remained somewhat of a mystery until the end. But you still got to know him as a person and could feel what he was going through as well. There were times I wanted to say step back Sarah, I got this... I will give him what he needs. lol.. I thought for sure, when I first started reading about him, I could predict how he would turn out, nope. I was partially wrong. I won't discuss too many details on him as it is all part of the unraveling story. Such a well developed character, I wanted more.

Overall: This book is filled with many emotions and twists and turns. I was so glad, yet not, that I wasn't able to predict how it would end. This is a MUST read book!!! I will add this author to my list when I feel the need for some reality. There wasn't a lot of sex in it at all, I normally go for these kinds of books, but a great romance of sorts. This book is worth the purchase!!

Love Shifter books..but this was missing something

So love a good shifter book with two alpha males. However, this trio seemed to missing chemistry or something. I just didn't feel a real connection among the three of them.

Story was typical really, which I don't mind.

The Alphas - honestly, they were pretty tame really. Not your usual dominant alpha personality showing through either Alpha

I would say low steam level. So if you are looking for that, it's a little light.

Not a book I would listen to a second time really. Didn't hate it, but have read better.

Just couldn't get past the narration

Seems like a good story line which made me keep listening as long as I did... but honestly, I would like to see this narration redone. Just couldn't keep listening. :-(

Honestly it was just ok. I Listen to this about a year ago definitely did not care for it then. Decided to give it another try as I’m a little more into BDSM now than I was back then. It was still just OK I like was missing something. Something in the storyline just not sure what

Couldn't do it...

Story: Good story line. This is the only reason I listened for as long as I did.

Narrator: AWFUL!! Seriously, I tried so hard to get used to it and accept it, but just couldn't handle it anymore. Firstly, this narrators voice sounded way older than a 25 year old... and that accent.. Oh Lord... don't even hire her to do a Southern accent again please. Terrible!! She is the reason I just had to quit this book... such a shame.. storyline wasn't bad.

Pretty good and entertaining

Story was pretty and even entertaining. I had a bit of trouble at first as the voices didn’t quite match the picture on the book cover and Jacks voice was almost too cheesy. But once I got past it all. I really enjoyed it.

A book like this should have at least two narrators in my opinion. I was not a fan of this narrator at all. Couldn’t even finish the book. Story was fine if you can get pas the reader.

Was a good listen - love the narrators

Honestly, this was a better listen that I thought would be. I had high hopes as I love these two narrators together, but you never know. I am not a real big fan of the flashback stuff, but it was ok in this book. I prefer to just hear the character talk about it openly, rather than hear a whole backstory in a flashback type chapter. Just my opinion. Still, was a great book, good listen. Worth a credit.
