This book is design for liberal thinking
Revisado: 07-18-24
weakness is glorified and heros are bad people, it's sad how liberal the writer is in my opinion of how he wrote the story, yes there are funny parts...
love & peace might be the goal, but this is an Apocalyptic story, death is the point.
If you looking for survival skills or bravery its not any characters in this book, it promotes weakness and peace loving action.

Historia
An artificial object made of compressed stardust is barreling toward Earth. Is it an invasion ship? A doomsday weapon? Perhaps it’s the final response of Squanto, the Warlord of Rigel who James McGill has repeatedly humiliated. Or could it be from the Mogwa, sent to avenge McGill’s assassination of Earth’s Imperial Governor? No one knows the truth of its origins, but the object is huge and unstoppable. Whoever hurled this rock at us isn’t answering our calls. Every weapon bounces off, and the people of Earth begin to go mad as they realize their destruction is only hours away.

great survival story
Revisado: 02-07-18
I think more interaction with The Blue People is needed, more fighting them rather all prep for survival, I feel that what was done in this book should have taken place over the next few books and express more of the struggles of this new world, do not get me wrong I love the survival aspect, just to much to soon in my opinion, author should have let it develops as time past, I like struggle in the beginning since the main event is life over as we once knew it need to be developed over time and the first two books jumped right into it giving me to much of nothing about how each person become who they are in the story. Do not misread my comment the series is starting off good, I am just not use to this much in just the first two books at this point. Please continue to make each book over 10 hours long it help me feel each character out and add to suspense for the next book, short books ruin the mood when they long period of time between release.

Too Short, and just the conclusion end of Book 5.
Revisado: 07-25-16
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
great short story, the author kept your attention with the kid zombies but this book was just the conclusion of book 5. At times it seem rush to fit inside of its 5 hour time frame, the author should have give more like his first few books...
Which character – as performed by Graham Halstead – was your favorite?
Great work Graham, your voice of multi-people are on point.
Any additional comments?
I am waiting to listen to the next book in this series, I just hope the author go back to telling a complete story rather than break one story into several books...this my last 5 hour zombie story I feel I paid for three books to hear one story.

Book 4 and 5 should have been one book
Revisado: 07-25-16
What would have made Dead Surge better?
The author should have combine book 4 and 5, I feel cheated that it were two book rather than one...I hate buying these so call 5 hour books and then the next book that come out is 5 hours as well and realize that just one story broken up into two books just to make more money.
What was most disappointing about Joseph Talluto’s story?
the story was perfect other than the author making you wait to get the complete story, I wish his next book be longer and a complete story.
What does Graham Halstead bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He make the story come alive for the listener and I love how he change pitch of each characters
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Dead Surge?
none the story was great just sad that the author rather make money then tell a complete story.
Any additional comments?
Please next time tell a complete story in one book rather charging the listener for two books and one story...this is my last 5 hours books I will purchase if you continue breaking up the stories.

Slow Slow then some action, then the zombie action
Revisado: 06-27-16
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
yes, because I like zombie action, but the first few chapter were about nothing important other than the author trying to clear up nothing important, if you can get my meaning here.
What do you think your next listen will be?
more zombie action books
Which scene was your favorite?
the battle for the weapons at the abandon camp.
Did Nemesis inspire you to do anything?
No, at first I was questioning my purchase, but at I hung in there it started to grab my attention as the zombies action became clear.
Any additional comments?
First few chapters are boring, but it get better as the zombies enter the book, next time I hope the writer chose action over dialogue when starting off his book, to grab his listeners first before trying to explain why people are where they are in the book, but I am not a great writer like Michael Stephen Fuchs, so I will leave the writing to him and stay in my place as listener...lol...so long story short the book ended up being good once the zombie action started.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The Story line for the second part was very bad the reader in both parts were great but the second story was very weak compared to the first part.

Now the story is coming to an understanding
Revisado: 03-31-15
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
yes, I love zombie stories and this one has teenagers in it and evil spirits as well...
What about James Foster’s performance did you like?
I think he is a good reader who is getting better as the book goes along.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
yes
Any additional comments?
You must read all of them to understand this book, and I wish the writer would release a new book every four months or so, because I find myself having to listen to the previous book before listening to the new book since there are so many similar stories out there like "The Dead Series" zombie books

Would you consider the audio edition of Down to be better than the print version?
yes, if you multi task like me Audio give you more freedom...and Down will end up surprising you at the end if you have listen to the other books before this one.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Down?
how easy it was to spy on the Project Eden, to know what I mean you need to listen to the book.
Have you listened to any of MacLeod Andrews’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
NO, great narrator, and I would add him to one of the reasons I would buy a book read by him.
Any additional comments?
Awesome series, but you would need to start at the beginning to understand how each book end up at Down...worth your time and money.

A rushed ending, but funny as hell...
Revisado: 08-12-12
What made the experience of listening to Zombie Fallout 5 the most enjoyable?
The in-fighting among the characters with the smart comments that made you laugh throughtout.
What other book might you compare Zombie Fallout 5 to and why?
I love zombie books, this one get my opinion because it made me laugh. While listen to this book, you kno that feeling you get when you are on the cell phone bluetooth and people think you are talking to yourself, this what everyone around me felt when a part in the book made me laugh out loud.
Which scene was your favorite?
The end of each book the main character tell you his pass life story. He did some crazy things to make him who he was in the books.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The reactions to the kids being killed by there parents when the end was near...but I think that was in one of his early books though. I listen to all five books back to back so I might be mixing books.
Any additional comments?
I wish it had a happy ending, but at least the only black guy of the book didn't die.
