Loved it. Didn’t want to stop listening.

I enjoyed the narration and the variance in her voice clearly delineated the characters. Well written. I could see each and every character and my emotions drifted, ebbed and flowed like the tide, just as the author hoped they would. Highly recommend this book! You will truly enjoy learning about the main character.

The book? Trash. And the author normalizes rape. Ridiculous. I am so bothered from reading this book.

A couple points of worth

I’ll start with saying that I did not feel the voice of the narrator was appropriate for this book. Her voice sounded young, I felt it should be a more mature narrator.
It was often difficult to get through the stories of each child’s reaction to each of the book types. I was hoping for something that would be more descriptive as to each age group and the various styles that are appropriate for the age group.
As stated in the title of my review, there were a couple of good points that I will take away from this book. It just wasn’t what I hoped for.

Excellent book! Helps you understand where love comes from, and how to get back in touch with love when you feel you may have lost it. It's changed my perceptions on many things in life. It's a must read!
Robert Holden does his own narration. It is outstanding, so easy to listen to, and so easy to relate to. I've seen him live, and he is just as amazing in person!
