Varg Freeborn obviously knows what he is talking about, and he shares his knowledge in a clear and understandable way. I recognized types and situations, and his aproach to dealing with violence and deception is certainly based not only on experience, but on insight and analysis. The narrator also has a pleasant and clear voice. I enjoyed listening and learning (and confirming own experiences).
I highly recomend this audiobook.

The book does not live up to its title. Somewhat naive and academic. The example negotiating with Nazis is interesting, but the author’s own experiences seemed to be from more «cosy» situations.

I really enjoyed this book. I think it is one of the best in the series. I do not agree with the reviewer who called the narration "the worst ever". On the contrary, I also find the narrator Eric McCormack to be excellent. His narration is lively, engaging and pleasant to listen to. Highly recommended.

Part one and part two are well worth listening to with interesing observations on importent issues.

Then in part three the book falls off the cliff. The author is out of his depth when he starts talking about "Recovery", and makes statements where he uses language like "you must" and "you should" on subjects where he is clearly not qualified to offer advice.
