Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

ESSENTIAL Read
Revisado: 07-22-21
This book dives into the reality of where America stands on Cyber Defense (Spoiler piss poor!) and where our biggest adversary’s stand (spoiler - they knew this was the future and invested big time knowing this was the best way to take us down). It also goes into the intricacies of our relationships with China + Russia and why they approach situations the way they do. This is one of the scariest books you’ll read. And the sad thing Is, you can assume how it will all end. In typical American fashion we will not do shit or take it serious to the extent that we need to until the shit absolutely hits the fan. And when everyone finally looks up and starts saying “okay we really really need to do something about this” you can have the awesome feeling of knowing it’s too late! All you have to do is read this book! Lastly I’d like to say is this. If you read this book and get overwhelmed with fear, you can find solace in knowing that yeah this sucks, and yeah you and I Litterally can’t do anything about it, but this isn’t the only thing that America has detrimentally fucked up! That panic that will ensue upon our society - 1000x’s worse than the original covid panic) once everybody actually understands what’s going on isn’t only applicable to cyber security and the possible civil war that most likly will ensue because of other global powers + our domestic billionaires consantly bombarding social media with fake information and since we’ve defunded schools to the extent that we have in the name of the military budget - which you will see was actually obsolete to the insane extent America has taken it all along, IF u decide to read this book - and also thanks to the Daughters of the Confederacy we can watch not only America but the World burn because 85% of the nation is too fucking stupid to realize the difference between weather and climate. That’s right. This book shouldn’t really concern you because the world is already dead thanks to climate change. We’re just sticking around as long as we possibly can just to watch it rot. Anyways yeah pretty good book, 4 out of 5.

Historia
An avid member of the Hitler Youth in 1940s Vienna, Johannes Betzler discovers his parents are hiding a Jewish girl named Elsa behind a false wall in their home. His initial horror turns to interest - then love and obsession. After his parents disappear, Johannes is the only one aware of Elsa's existence in the house and the only one responsible for her fate. By turns disturbing and blackly comic, Christine Leunens' captivating and masterful novel examines this world of truth and lies, laying bare the darkest corners of the human soul.

Wanted to not believe all the other reviews but then I read it
Revisado: 11-15-19
The book was amazing in the first half and is worth reading just because of that. The second half seems forced and added on to make the story longer. Idk first half is so good tho.

Historia
Back on Earth with nothing more to show for his long, strange trip through time and space than a ratty towel and a plastic shopping bag, Arthur Dent is ready to believe that the past eight years were all just a figment of his stressed-out imagination. But a gift-wrapped fishbowl with a cryptic inscription, the mysterious disappearance of Earth’s dolphins, and the discovery of his battered copy of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy all conspire to give Arthur the sneaking suspicion that something otherworldly is indeed going on.

Revisado: 11-11-19
Didn’t get messed up by zaphods mysteriously random Brooklyn 1960’s Italian accent.. different then the other books but I thought in a good way. Adams broke the fourth wall a couple times which is always fun.
