Thank you, Annabeth, for your wonderful talent. The way you shape your characters, the way you form your plots… the way you show how love can be between two men. Thank you so much!

We do live on a drunk planet. This book shows a transformational perspective! It's been said that alcohol is the only drug where you get ridiculed for NOT taking it. Sean Alexander's book is just fantastic. Take it to heart, and it WILL change your life.

The narrator, Piers Sherwood-Roberts is EXCELLENT. He doesn't "read" the story, he "tells" it.

This story was so good! Some might argue it was TOO good. I mean, Tanner and Roo's friendship was so awesome from the very beginning, it's hard to believe people could be like that. Especially Tanner. Sure, he had his faults, but the way he loved Roo—and didn't even know how close he was to romantic love... it seemed a tad far-fetched. Yet that's what made this story magical!

I loved that this fiction was effortless (if a stretch unbelievable) and so easy to swallow. I'm trying to move away from the artificial angst kind of stories (where there's a big problem just for the sake of having a problem), and this story was perfect! Don't get me wrong, the main characters definitely had hurdles to overcome. But the hurdles were beautiful, pleasant, and rewarding.

FIVE ENTHUSIASTIC STARS

SPOILER ALERT (kinda). This book has NO HOOK in the first two chapters. You will have to PLOD through the first two chapters to get to the hook where the characters actually begin their journey. But, if you get past those first two chapters, your patience will be richly rewarded.

Further, at some points in the story, it seems Fenn and Mason have too many character flaws (unsure, unambitious, unreasonable insecurities...) but it all works out in the end. What I'm trying to say is that if you just keep going, the story does end well. One more caveat: The requisite lover's misunderstanding(s) that Fenn and Mason have, sometimes seem a bit TOO convoluted and forced (just for the sake of requisite conflict). Yet, that too makes more sense (or at least they're easier to overlook) if you just keep going.

This sounds like a negative review, but I have to say I really enjoyed the story. I recommend this to those who are willing to work for their HEA.

Michael Dean's narration is the best I've heard him do; in other works he's seemed a bit off-character, but he redeemed himself on this one.

This is a wonderful story of two young guys, one of whom is firmly in the closet. The other is basically out. Yet they both have their issues. Anyway, this is a great yarn with a HEA ending. I highly recommend.

Such a wonderful love story. Both the protagonists were fantastic! Very well crafted!

I do have to say that Michael Dean's narration was... distracting. (Michael, I don't know you, but I love you, and you definitely have a great talent. An amazing range of inflections and masterful tones, but...) Michael's voice is a cross between Paul Lynde and Martha Stewart. Or something. Whatever it is, in my opinion it's not a voice that's suited to a m/m romance. It just was... distracting. He made the characters sound a lot different than I "heard" them in my mind when I read the Kindle version.

First of all, I think I might be ruined. The passionate sex that Lauren Blakely writes is the most sizzling-hot sex I’ve ever vicariously had. And this book is about so much more than sex. It’s done me in, I fear.

But first, I have to say that I could not write a review for the first book, “Scoring With Him.” I try to write positive reviews when possible, and the ending of that book made me want to throw my phone against the wall just as hard as Grant did. I was pissed. I felt let down. I was scared that I might not be able to trust this author. When I read a romance, I need a HEA. Jus’ sayin’. I mourned, to be honest. I was THAT invested in this story. But please, do read on.

So, no review for the first book. It was fantastic, but only when combined with this one. The two stories need to be folded into one work. That’s just my angle. I have to admit that emotionally, I wasn’t prepared for this series. For some reason, Declan and Grant push all my buttons: Romance, Lust, all of it. I have been thrown into a tizzy over these two. Literally. I think about this story all the TIME.

But now… Holy hell. Book two. Book two makes it all better. I think I might live after all. No. MORE than simply live. I feel like I will be a survivor. A warrior. A lover? To be honest, this whole story INSPIRES me. Yes, it’s drama. Yes, it’s story. Yes, it’s entertainment. But this one goes deeper. Much deeper.

This second book in the series makes up for the anger and angst I felt at the end of the first one. I LOVE THIS series.

Now, as for the narrators. OMG. I think that was part of the problem I had with all of this. Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan, with their amazing talent—they’re spectacular. And don’t get me started about when they intone low and deep in their sexy, sultry tones. I swear those guys probably cause orgasms just by talking.

Now… on to book three. “All In with Him.” It starts now.
