Revisado: 03-27-13
Would you consider the audio edition of Old Filth to be better than the print version?
haven't read the book but the narrator is great and the story does reflect the society of the times.
What did you like best about this story?
the comprehensive and concise way it rendered the story comprehensible and didn't live the feeling of leaving out many historical details that are not pertinent to the story
What about Graeme Malcom’s performance did you like?
professional delivery
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
the visit to his cousins and their views on the changing world remains most in my mind
Any additional comments?
highly recommend it and will be looking for more of the same author and narrator

Historia
The story begins 30 years after Francis' death, when Father Leo, Francis's closest friend, is dying. Bound to a vow of silence, Leo sends a cryptic message to Conrad, his own favorite student, connecting him with an unlikely companion, 16-year-old Sister Amata. The two begin to search for the truth about St. Francis, a truth that will shake the faith of the masses to the core and bring into question the foundation of the Franciscan Order.

The book spoiled by a very poor narration; good story and plot, could have been much better with a different narrator or different of narration style perhaps!? AVERAGE
